  • This is a bucket adaptation that I built for my 54" plow blade that
lets me move soil, mulch, snow, etc. around.

I’ve seen another video of this same kind of design. It’s a good idea. Definitely not a direct replacement for a loader but I can see how it could be handy in certain applications

It was a matter of having the skills and time to build it but o money for something more serious. It worked amazingly.

@@lornetontegode6986 I hear ya, it’s always harder than it sounds initially. It looks good though, almost looks factory

You should market this! It's a great idea.

Very cute tractor and attachment. However, this work can be done by a wheelbarrow only very slightly slower.

If you've had three back surgeries and need to innovate, it works well but thanks for trying to make everyone live your life

I looked again at the video... You have a great chain setup and weights. Only problem is the compacted soil. A much larger machine would be needed to just run into that soil and get a full overflowing bucket. That said, it sure beats shoveling by a mile..

Is that a full weight JD ? Seems to have a bit of trouble moving a small amount of dirt.

Not really. It doesn't angle below a flat grade but it can cut into a pile or mound though.

Not true. That is a JD 425 NOT a cheap POS you can get from Home Depot. These are REAL tractors. I have a 455 Diesel and it built like a tank.

I have skidded plenty of 6"-8" trees with my 425 . Change the hydraulic fluid and filter 2 times as often as the factory recommends. I got rid of the tire chains and use deep lug ATV wheels, much better ride than the chains.
