I have a question I have i7-3770k 512 gb nvme ssd 16 gb ram Gt 730 4gb DDR3 gpu Can i run windows 11 smoothly And i know its unsupported on my pc but after windows 10 expire i will not have any choice so Is it good to use windows 11 if it lag
@@petertech210 You can map a physical drive as a vmdk and then use it in virtualbox for booting I have made a script to make the task easy you can go to github.com/Someone786-alt/vbox-vmdk-creater to make a vmdk from a script.
@@petertech210 You could also raw mount the drive and boot from it that way. See e.g.- www.howtogeek.com/187721/how-to-boot-from-a-usb-drive-in-virtualbox/
@spitfirefmr And by this way I have managed to get Win11 on a 10 year old laptop. Runs smoother than ever. Those so called minimum requirements are just fake to make you buy another laptop.
I wholeheartedly agree with your comment. But I think people on UA-cam use it, as English is not their first or native language. But again, I understand not trusting videos which use AI voice, as it annoys me too!!!
Short, to the point and works. No rambling on about random crap for 20 minutes or begging for likes and subs.
thank you very much
Quick question, is it possible to run virtual machine on windows 7 and run windows 11 in it?

I had to convert hard drive (MBR) to GPT. my old pc doesn't meet any requirement for win10 but it's running smoothly 👍
are you in bios? how do i get to the screen ur on
To open the command prompt you need to press the keys "Shift and F10" at the same time
@spitfirefmr it didn't work for me I did everything you said in the video how come it doesn't work?
ok I got the windows 11 but I'm afraid of any data leaks or me getting hacked is there a fix for that?

One thing I might note is that for some reason this wouldn't work while trying to install win 11 pro but 11 home worked just fine
Is it really true
For some reason it's not working in VirtualBox.
Thanks for your imput.
This video was made with virtualbox . Are you using the right settings?
@@spitfirefmr Suppose I'll give it another go. 👍

Did you try the tool Flyby11 ? apparently it works
You don't know by any chance how to use rufus to boot a vm in virtualbox?
Do you mean to use an ISO file as a boot device? or to use Rufus to make a bootable device?

Thank you very much 😁 I've managed to install it on my old laptop
Glad I could help
Just make a Win 11 setup on a external harddisk ( option 2 on the microsoft website) and boot the pc from this disk and install Win 11. Much easier.
Thanks for the suggestion, it's an excellent option if you have a harddisk at hand 👌🏻👍🏻

Wanted to give you a thumbs up, but this did not work. Thanks.
thank you 😊
Can not take anything serious with an AI voice.
I wanted to give a try to see the analitics from it. :P
@@spitfirefmr Personally I like AI voice for instruction videos - keeps it crisp and clear.
