So you're saying for a shorter athlete moving the seat further back is more effective? Just curious. I'm 5'1 and have been struggling with what settings to keep the bike.
that is a way that you can try. the key is to work to get your torso angle and feet position as close as you can to what james described. for shorter athletes, it's simply much harder as you saw with amanda "demo'ing" having to push angularly up into the handles. thanks for waiting on the reply haha
Thanks. Yeah I just did a local competition in my hometown and had to do a 50cal sprint on one for time. Those things are INTENSE! Could hardly walk afterwards.
our thinking at the time (2015 haha) was to visualize the challenges as well as what it should look like. even an athlete of AG's abilities can have equipment that just doesn't work for them whereas really tall athletes will have to adjust on pieces such as the ski erg. thanks for your patience on our reply back lol
Assault Bikes/Air Dynes are the cardio kings they burn more calories than anything I've ever tried I heard versa climbers are good too but it's too rich for my blood not even gyms have those it's like 8K for one fuck that
Great coaching....you recommended she should be positioned in a way the seat won't even go...."going back further would be better." "It doesn't go further..." "...exactly...you're in the perfect position..."
Nice workout analysis lesson on the airbike👍🏽
Glad you liked it!
Very helpful! Thank you for sharing.

Just curious here, but why would you use someone who physically cannot fit properly in the bike for a tutorial on how to effectively fit in the bike?

haha, it just shows that shorter athletes can't actually get into a "perfect" position to lever the bike the best
Chain to handles is too loose fyi
Maybe get a new audio cable?
we don't disagree, we've come a long way since 2015 haha
Lol. Good stuff.
