been working for a carrier . we worked hard and go the extra mile even tho it seems unnoticed, we don't want to just get by. i know its must be a good feeling to know that your company will do everything to see a driver make it, and know that the driver is their most important asset. others feel drivers as disposable as a camera from the local drug store. its also a great feeling to know you can trust them, with others its a lil harder. you said u dont ask for a rate, at other carriers if you did that you might get a not so good outcome. its also great you guys can take any load with out questioning where its going or how many vans in area.other carriers this are important because if you dont get good rate going in and its going to a dead zone and there is 6 vans in front of you your stuck unless you want to deadhead and even so they will beat around bush. im ok with answer i dont i might not like,but i just want a clear answer. the key here is quality over quantity, others its backwards why? because if you dont take load there is 15 other people who will. "at least your moving" should not be in a dispatch vocab. my end goal is to get to barrett or at least something close.
Rate cons it's the contract between broker and carrier if you feel you have to check your carrier by asking to see it you should go somewhere else..2 reasons first you have a legal right to see it and they will be forced to show you it but don't expect to be there long second there must be a trust factor between you and your carrier if not find some where you can have that trust

I don't comment on other carriers but will advise you to join on Facebook transportation life wheels wings and rudders and you can talk directly to drivers working there and other places and get their feedback
