I watched one interview for a book about Gamergate with a female model photographer who worked with Quinn a while back, she did the same thing to her and made false accusations towards her after a photoshoot they did, she is a psychopathic individual.

thats kind of the problem they try to hide the fact they had involvement in store pages but you can see it on their websites and/or credits of the game and when someone on steam makes a curated list of "Sweet baby inc involved games" the people who worked for that company tries to publicly harass that person into silence (didnt work btw and they protected their tweets)

The best part is that the curator took the information from the Sweet Baby website and posted it in the curator group. It's information Sweet Baby is ostensibly proud to admit, but not so proud they want the public to know about it.
unfortunately that's the only tool that SBi has, as a developer why would you hire them, odds are they approach the dev or publisher and go into hysterics about how all manner of things they have are a big problem and run a pressure campaign until either the dev or publisher caves and hires them, or they contact the legal team, threaten to take them to the courts, and block their number and email.

This is why it's essential to be either really subtle or satirical if you want to preach/lecture without annoying your audience, something an obviously immoral (and soulless) company never realize the huge importance of these tools.
Not only that, i wonder about their communication with the writers of some of these games. I have a suspicion they are using Sweet baby to throw in their ideas that had been thrown out during meetings with people who saw the flaws to undermine the refinement process. Theres a lot of aspects in these games that show "First draft material that's not that thought out" and "getting lost in the Sauce". Some examples include:
God of war Ragnarok: Kratos doing the I was wrong speech to desensitize yourself to the dying of humans in reference to the part first game's dialogue, however in the first game he specifically mentioned the marauders and Bandits that had complete intention to kill them and not the civilians shown in Ragnarok. Meaning they didn't check was was actually written before.
Spider-man 2's MJ sections where the enemies are flat out obviously nerfed compared to the rest of the gameplay (the Instant fail/death on being spotted from the first game would have helped with this). Also the vanity in the redesign.
The Brooklyn institute missions showing First draft problems of being really elaborate setups for a lack of payoff and Miles having no real plotline for the impending Third game.
The Cultural history missions focusing near exclusively on Harlem while the new areas of Queens and Brooklyn could have been expanded on.
I could focus on others but these Games are examples of the Games themselves being good but the Writing is holding it dow especially Spider-man 2 where it almost ruined the entire thing if it was refined more. I obviously could have talked about the other aspects, but that's aready covered enough and showing how they're not improving the strories and making rookie mistakes gets the point across better.
Even if they get steam to remove the curator and the group, it's far too late. The damage to them is done. 100's of spotlights are now upon them.
They do that and all it’ll do is put Steam itself in people’s crosshairs.

To paraphrase South Park on this, Sweet Baby has without fail on every project they've touched has "put a chick in it, and make it lame and gay". They quite literally cannot help themselves as it's their mission statement on their website. The moment you put such a blatant politically motivated agenda over actual quality, you don't get quality, you get the agenda. Could you accidentally stumble into a good story? Sure, but that's an accidental byproduct, the main goal was DIE talking points, so that's what you primarily get.

@@animezilla4486 So I'm going to counter this with personal knowledge on one of their titles they worked in Goodbye Volcano High. The game is...pretty terrible, no getting around that. It's charging 30 bucks for a game that's barely 5 hours long and plagued with odd technical issues and half of its run time is spent on a DnD like game despite there being an actual Asteroid hurtling toward the planet that should encourage some level of urgency to the plot and characters but...just doesn't. All the characters are somewhere on the LGBT spectrum and damn near all of them are walking caricatures of teenager tropes. It's a poorly made game that somehow got major backing by both Sony and the Canadian government and feels more like a money laundering scam then anything else while still pushing the stuff Sweet Baby endorses from their website.
Snootgame is a project created by the denizens of 4chan using the character models of GVH and was successfully finished and released damn near a full year before GBH released officially and for 0 dollars. By not being tied to the DEI chains, Cavemanon (the developers of Snootgame) were able to write an actual story that even tackles the trans issue in a more believable way by not treating it as some sacred cow that can't be criticized. As a result one of the 2 main protagonists of the game is a deeper and more relatable person then any of the pieces of cardboard in GVH.
TLDR: Sweet Baby's politics interferes with their ability to write or consult on good story telling because it's not their main goal.

They often complain about one thing while giving things a pass for another because of really BS reasons. For example, in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League there is a scene where Captain Boomerang, King Shark, and Deadshot are stuck in a stasis trap unable to move. Deadshot tells Harley Quinn several times to NOT touch any of them because she would be trapped. Harley Quinn then says 'You saying I can't really make me want to' to which she stares at Deadshot's ass and slaps both hands on his butt much to the other Squad member's chagrin as she says 'Worth it!'. Now this is played for laughs.
But if the roles were reversed and it was King Shark, Deadshot, and Harley Quinn stuck and Captain Boomerang was the one copping a feel on Harley before getting frozen in that position and saying 'Worth it!' There would have been roars and proclaims that the game is treating women like a sex objects or it's promoting rape culture. But sense it's Harley Quinn, a character who in this universe is responsible for legit acts of terrorism, she's gets a pass because it's a woman harassing a man. In fact, it's treated as a joke because SH on men is funny because they think it's something that never happens.
The irony of some people thinking this is "empowering" is that behavior is actually sexist towards women! Yes, it's very sexist towards men, but hear me out here. The reason society doesn't negatively view a woman putting her hands on a man, without consent, is the same reason why society doesn't view it as wrong if a woman hits a man: society sees women as weak, nonthreatening, and ineffectual in so far as their capability to cause harm in any way.
So by encouraging this sort of behavior, so-called "feminists" are actually reinforcing negative stereotypes about women in a round-about way.

I usually write a whole essay and everything when it comes to topics like this, but y'know what - Sweet Baby at this point does not deserve any more of my time any energy. So I'll say this as a rebuttal to everything they stand for and that's it:
Diversity and representation has always been in the gaming community. It's been here long since before they appeared. Not only that, their version is not true diversity. It's checklists. It's forcing a narrative. It's watering down characters. It's removing the rain that creates the rainbow. It's strangling true creativity.
I will not be purchasing any games with their stain on them. "Yes you will eventually," you say? No one knows the future, sure. But to this very day, I'm still boycotting the Epic Games Store due to their exclusivity practices. EGS hasn't seen a dime from me. I try to stand by my decisions.
Its really easy to not buy an entertainment product after all. There is no forcing you to buy it. IF you see a game you do not like, then you do not need to buy it.

I played a few games recently that escaped the politic injections and i just cant go back. Like im never ever playing a game with it again. It was so refreshing to just play a game and enjoy it.

@@crakhaed ff7 remake. The only thing ever brought up was tifa when shes younger people say she got nerfed. She looks absolutely fine. And in the first one they added a sports top. But she is not nerfed 😂 i promise xD
But for the rest of the game not only does nothing get injected but its almost the opposite. Like there are so many scenes that i cant believe didnt get freaked out on like the inuendo and flirting is off the charts. And I mostly mean rebirth cause its way bigger than the first one.
I dont recall a time ever where i was annoyed or thought here we go. Its like a disney land for ff7. It has depth alot of depth and minigames and all that and its long. Id guess? 70 hours maybe? Im not finished 100%. But never did i feel like they are forcing something down my throat. Some of the characters are a bit.. flashy if thats a good way to put it 🤣 but nothing feels forced at all. Its just a wild fun ride from start to finish.
And tomb raider remake. They tried to censor it and people did come out to like complain from the old company but in the actual game nothing like that.
Although tomb raider remakes are older games so? Alot of people dont like em just cause they are old. Just kinda jank and difficult to play.
But all of it especially ff7 remake made me feel like this right is here is what i want. This is what gaming is about. Having fun, nothing too serious, enjoying and relaxing.
Games are so much better when they are allowed to just be themselves. It felt like playing games back in the old days before all this stuff.
@@crakhaed beware that tomb raider though the remakes are an acquired taste lol. Like alot of people dont like the ps1 type controls. But i had fun. It doesnt hold your hand and is difficult. Not much story not much anything but platforming and combat. And most people need a guide cause they really tossed you to the wolfs in them games. They arent easy. Ff7 for sure though. I never ever buy games new and ff7 to me was worth every penny.

Fun fact, in places like africa where everyone's "race" as we understand it in first world contries, they're actually way more racist. Since race is a completely social construct, you can just make up more races. Different african tribes are super racist to each other. My uncle went on a christian mission there and his two african companions from different tribes tried to kill each other over their racial differencecs.

Do people who get upset about animal deaths in movies/shows get equally upset when humans die?
Cause I've only ever heard it the one way, and it just seems really strange to me.
Like, yeah, I can watch a human get beheaded; but if someone kicks a dog, I have to turn it off!?
It's more a matter of empathy/sympathy. A human dies in a movie, there's a reason like they were an asshole or it's a repercussion of a stupid choice made. Animals are animals and have a degree of innocence, and throw on top of that fairly often the animal death is just there for a quick emotional punch. If you've had pets or are an animal lover, you often see your own pet in place of the animal on screen. I mostly watch horror movies and I can sit through some awful stuff happening to people no problem, but an animal death depending on the depiction will wreck me.
A global study about psychology has shown that most humans are more empathic towards animals than to other humans, so yeah the death of an animal creates a stronger emotional response than the death of a human on screen
