American Girl items (dolls, clothes, parts, basket, bicycles, etc) are a great buy; the value of all items goes up and up; many people have purchased and are holding on to them to sell HIGH. When we see them on Ebay or Mercari, we just buy them and hold on to them. Towel sets, would lay flat on table as a set then do an overhead shot to see them better in photo. We don't do well with toys; they take forever to sell.

The American Girl doll who had the dress on is one of the original characters, Kirsten, and no that is not her original dress. You are correct that Pleasant Company Dolls are older. I still have mine that I got back in the 80s.

I remember watching the video when you got the towels and I believe you said you wanted to keep those for a spare or guest bathroom lol.
If you just spray the dolls hair with some water and use a wire brush. I use a pet brush. Also magic erasers work good on their face, arms and legs. Just don't get water near eyes

Do you do measurements on your clothes? That takes so much time.
I was going to ask the same question - you're sooo fast that I couldn't tell! 😂
I do just not during the photography process. I would say measurements would be an additional 10 mins.
When you take photos of the items, do you make notes on size and any other information, or just do it all from memory when you list.
I take photos of all the things I need to remember (size/brand/material/flaws/etc) so I have everything I need!

Seems stressful, was it just because she was on a time crunch? I don’t resell so idk if it’s always stressful or what.
I think the stressful part honestly is remembering I’m recording a vid for all of you so remembering to talk my thoughts out loud while also trying not to sound stupid 😅 but yes I think this day the time crunch got to me, I know how much time each task takes so I thought I had plenty of time but since I’m not used to recording this sort of video I didn’t account for the time in setting up the camera, etc
Maybe put the towels on a towel rack in one of your bathrooms and take your photos there.🙂✌
