I had a roommate that that started drugs after we got an apartment together. He paid his part of the rent then stole it back while I was in the shower. I had no proof but I wanted him out. He said he was on the lease and I couldn't do anything about it. So I made him WANT TO LEAVE. I removed all the toilet paper from the bathroom. "You can buy your own". When he wanted to eat, "That's my silverware, you aren't allowed to use it." I was like that about everything. He finally gave up and went to live with a girlfriend down the street.

Being a homeowner it’s hard to get lowlifes out indeed. Took 2 years before I got mines back now going to sell to a great renter I was luckily to find. This is a good idea because I own residential nice homes but a mansion I be heated!!

In order for squatters to get inside property they must break-in. They don't have keys. Breaking into a home is no longer illegal?
As soon as they say they’re a “tenant” it’s not illegal. It’s not illegal to break a window to gain entry into a place you have a lease for. There may be repercussions, damage deposit withheld, pay for damage etc.
But as soon as they say tenant turns into a civil matter. But police should and be allowed to ask for proof not just someone saying it. If the home owner argues this, there is a criminal element that should be investigated.
That it gets denoted to civil by mere suggesting is ridiculous
Squatters took over a mansion to produce OF content...stop right there. I don't want to know anymore.

Squatters wouldn't be able to go through a metal detector if they tried taking over my property.
I'll never forget the landlord in my former hometown who was having trouble with a bunch of freeloading squatters, so he signed a lease with a "tenant" who was a BIG, tatted up dude who sat in the property's living room with a pistol in his hand, wiping it with a cloth over and over again. He'd occasionally make eye contact with the squatter filth, muttering "The voices aren't real" and "God, it's been so long, I don't want to relapse.
The squatter scumbags were gone within 36 hours lol
amazing how govt can fix a problem but for 50 years could care less if someone steals your home, care less
Squatters should have no rights. Breaking and entering is a crime.
