Wait...you do CHICKEN as well?....b-but where's the maillard reaction? Does chicken even have a spinalis dorsi? Are you OKAY, Nick? Are you held hostage? Should I call someone?
The Chef's sunglasses are perfect for ocular patdowns. Now he can determine a subject's threat level without him being able to feel his retinal assessment
Well yes, *some* third world countries have some of the best food (from my travel experiences), they have centuries and centuries of history = time to develop food culture.
They look on the dry side. They do something similar to this in southern Thailand, only they par boil the birds first and then bbq over a charcoal or a wood flame and they are terrific and not dry.
This great :) When I go to a restaurant I always order something I couldn´t, or wouldn´t, make at home. So, not chicken then. But I would def order this-it looks awesome.
only on sundays keeps the health department with their infrared temp guns off your ass but this is one of the coolest yt videos on cooking chicken well done
Where'd you get medieval from? lol wtf "I got a buddy whos a metal worker so I had him make me a metal table and then I went to home depot and bought a bunch of shit"
It is the best, Almazan, type kitchen. He boils only two for the sauce? Even though you can add and deep into any kind of sauce. I love this type of cooking. It is rare. Not allowed in some cities.
It looked dry, also he didn't mention what kind of chicken it was. Therefore I suspect supermarket chicken. It seems like a a lot of steps for poulet ficelle.
Is this any different than smoking a spatchcoked chicken on a kamado then crisping it over a flame? The dutch oven is more of a cheat to me, likeif you have a line forming and not enough grillspace.
So basically sajji? the thing that Pakistan and the whole Persian gulf is doing? We do it the same, with a coal with and whole chicken on a large wooden rod. More metal and medieval than this.
Ahaha medieval? That looks like a state of art cooking compared to the one in most villages in Middle East or South America. Have you guys ever seen the meat cooking in the well?!?
Eh, I don't believe him. You go to any Mexican grocery store in California and they're making the pollo asado in the parking lot that in turn is sold in the deli inside. From watching the technique in the video, there's no way that that one tastes significantly different. Plus, I think I paid like $9 for the pollo asado the last time i got it.
exactly, nothing impressive about the dish to be honest except for the customized equipment he used, there are so many better versions of grilled/roasted chicken than this.
No doubt the chickens were good but can you give a unbiased review when the chef is standing directly behind with an axe?
A little dry for my liking. Needs to be moist.
Wait...you do CHICKEN as well?....b-but where's the maillard reaction? Does chicken even have a spinalis dorsi? Are you OKAY, Nick?
Are you held hostage? Should I call someone?
😂😂😂

Ice King 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
It's Sunday night. "Sun is still out"
Sunset that day was at 7:56pm! Thanks for watching!
British people...
Ice King exactly I was like ummmmm that’s a leg
I want this done to my corpse (after it has been dry aged for168 days), and I want Nick to review it.
If you haven't been grass-fed all your life, he wouldn't even look at your cooked corpse.
i taste profound notes of methane and a potent umami aftertaste of decomposed matter ...shatteringly rigor mortis
Now THAT would be the platonic ideal
Lmfaooo!
Why not 169 days ...?
"the greatest version of *outdoor* chicken that I've ever had"
I don't think that's quite the greatest compliment ever. 🤔😂

They look on the dry side. They do something similar to this in southern Thailand, only they par boil the birds first and then bbq over a charcoal or a wood flame and they are terrific and not dry.

Sandor Clegane would LOVE this place.....
oopopp x he'll kill for it
Some toum (garlic sauce) would make a nice accompaniment.
This may be old, but it's a gaucho grill! South Americans still use this method!
This great :) When I go to a restaurant I always order something I couldn´t, or wouldn´t, make at home. So, not chicken then.
But I would def order this-it looks awesome.

I wanted to come and leave a witty comment, there is just too much wit in the comments for me to compete with.
When next you are in Hawaii, try to make your way to a huli huli chicken sale. You’ll enjoy it pleasingly.
Did he just call the drumstick the thigh or am I missing something?
Places like this actually make me LIKE NYC/Brooklyn and want to come visit. Any B&B near there?
What’s up with the wood chunks hanging on chains over the fire? Never seen that before
Is that a hurly with an axe fixed on the end? Legend
Look at all those chickens!
Where'd you get medieval from? lol wtf "I got a buddy whos a metal worker so I had him make me a metal table and then I went to home depot and bought a bunch of shit"
STEEZ lol. It's a hipster thing to set them apart from typical society.
Perhaps, he meant primal?
It is the best, Almazan, type kitchen. He boils only two for the sauce? Even though you can add and deep into any kind of sauce. I love this type of cooking. It is rare. Not allowed in some cities.

We do this all the time. Look up, "How to Braai Chicken". Nice videos and greetings from Africa.
Anybody know of any videos/resources to create a setup like this?
Where in Brooklyn is this? Now I want to go on a Sunday
His neighbors must hate him...

The pots are called Dutch Ovens ...
This video is hipster strong.
I've always thought salting chicken is so much better than brining
Free meal always delicious for you!!!
Did he just season it with only salt?
Is this any different than smoking a spatchcoked chicken on a kamado then crisping it over a flame? The dutch oven is more of a cheat to me, likeif you have a line forming and not enough grillspace.
Nick Solares is the English Josh Ozersky.
If he were to use koshered chickens, he wouldn't need to add so much salt
Seems like they’re using a south American style of cooking the chickens?
This all makes sense. They're drinking Genessee beer. (Rochesterians, you know what I mean.)
Profound flavor of duck..er chicken
I dare you to Try broiled Malasa Chicken of Los Baños, laguna,Philippines .
Looks great! Try some chicken peruvian style...
Lmao a guy with a show called the meat show who doesn’t know the difference between the thigh and the drumstick.
what kind of wood is that, is it good wood?
a bunch of unseasoned chicken...yum....
Four legs good, two legs bad.
Awesome....you just gave me an idea brother🇺🇸👍
its the dry brine, and the hanging
New Drinking Game: Take a shot every time he says profound
I call those the hypertension drumsticks.
3:28 that is so much salt!
Could be re titled " The Roast Chicken That's Made on a Home Depot Contraption"...
The Miz, after quitting WWE
*"I generally prefer to eat four-legged animals than two-legged animals"*
what can of monster says that?
I guess "I generally prefer to eat four-legged animals than two-legged animals," brand canned monster says it.
So basically sajji? the thing that Pakistan and the whole Persian gulf is doing? We do it the same, with a coal with and whole chicken on a large wooden rod. More metal and medieval than this.

Nick.
Signature Thapa

*good meat intensifies*
Ahaha medieval? That looks like a state of art cooking compared to the one in most villages in Middle East or South America. Have you guys ever seen the meat cooking in the well?!?
Rochester shoutout to Genny!

He looks like Albert Wesker from RE lol.
Here so early there isn't dicky comments from People that don't darned trust the way that englisher speaks real good and all.
I'd be super gay if a meat show went like this generally
I could eat that all day long. But I'm surprised the health department allows it.
