interested of your thoughts on subject of cloudflare .. throttling the internet?
@@poopdish69 Definitely agree. was thinking about Websites that utilize Cloudflare its been becoming more and more a gatekeeper of the Internet.
Can you buy BOTH. ?
I think you can, but you have to find one of the few vpn’s that offer it.
I've used "Smart DNS Proxy" for years to get BBC in the US using a "UK" roku. You can usually find good multi year deals with them, and the smart DNS has been flawless. They also have a VPN... My goodness the VPN they have is awful. Slow. Clunky interface. Desktop Vs Mobile doesn't even have the same servers. That's why I have both them and torguard. Different services for different purposes.
Thank you Tom I think I'll use VPN
O use dns and VPN.
I use vpn
Very well explained, thanks Tom. WeVPN has been fantastic, thanks Tom
im shaking i downloaded a file from someone i met online (keep in mind im 12 i have no idea what im doing) they sent me every bit of my information. like my whole FAMILYS emails, this includes school, emails, personal, and work emails and they also have passwords they basically took everything please help im very afraid please respond. ALSO they know this stuff Compromised data: full names, dates of birth, geographical location, IP address, passwords, usernames and email addresses. please help me
8 months have passed tho but if this was recent i would tell you
you're just fucked, sorry
Sheesh
If you end up like this: time to change everything and don't download stuff without verifying it's safe or from someone reputable. Don't reuse passwords and make sure they're secure. Also don't keep tons of personal stuff. Doing stuff like saving all your passwords in Google is asking for trouble it's like writing everything out on a open stick note.
bruh you fucked up
I use both... .😉
That's the right way to do it. Vpn alone isn't enough. There's no point in using a vpn when all the log history still goes to the internet provider dns. Nobody ever mentions you need both like peanut butter and jelly or cereal with milk.
RethinkDNS
Is it safe ?
@@Amara_Op yes
Saying vpn provides anonymity is such a casual thing to say 😂
