This worked for me; also a '98 Land Cruiser. I bought a (relatively) cheap key at Batteries Plus, _without_ the lock/unlock/panic buttons. They cut it for me, using the original key of course. Other videos show locking/unlocking the car a bunch of times, to program the buttons. This video is for starting the truck. Thanks for the instruction.
