I'm going to bake my own wedding cake later this year, and this looks like a perfect recipe for it! I'm not vegan myself but we'll have vegans and lactose-intolerant folks at the reception, so we wanted to have a cake that everyone could eat.
Rosie you're fabulous. Tu réponds toujours c'est super. Devine ça y est je me lance enfin dans le cake design avec ma formation .je prépare un avec tes recettes.cest pour la fête des pères. Je te montrerai le résultat final. Biz
I have used Nutelex for dairy free buttercream for a while. My issue with it is it leaves a nutty flavour in the buttercream. Its not bad as such but it doesnt taste right when u try to flavour it. If u use the nutelex straight from the fridge and dont add much liquid (just flavouring and a very small amount of water) it maintains its consistency.
Hi Rosie! Lovely cake! Where can I get the small offset spatula that you used! We have the 3/4 wide ones. Yours looks like wider, like the long ones. Thank you! Much love!
Hiii! Been looking for an eggless recipe so this seems good to try! Also, how long do you think the frosting will last under a quite high temp(around 27-34°C)? Anyway, thanks for the amazing tutorial!
hey, is it 3 teaspoons or tablespoons of baking soda? video says tbsp but in the description it’s tsp. i’m making this cake right now i need to know pls😩
Very nice. I’m not vegan... do you find crum coating and icing cakes easier to do using the decorators icing (lard) compared to other type icings (ex buttercream...)?
hi! just wanted to ask, because of the heat here (40+ degrees C), i use all shortening in my frosting. as soon as i add food coloring, like americolor or chef's master, it splits.. have you experienced this before?
hey hun! The alluminium foil helps the cake to rise evenly and reduces that dome on the top of your cake. I also keeps the temperature within the cake tin more stable and cooks the cake more evenly. I also notice the cake browns less when baked off this way :)
Hi hun, this helps the cake bake evenly and stops it from doming at the top so it stays flatter. It also reduces the amount of caramelisation on the cake as well x

Bless you for this Vegan here 🙏
Ooo, vegan. How does it taste compared to an egg filled cake? Love the colored texture!
Vegan cakes taste just like non vegan cakes. I mean, the egg isn't there for the taste, right? 😄
Hi, Could you please confirm the measurement for Baking soda? 3 Tsp or 3 TBSP? Written description and video are different. Thank you.
Looks elegant!

In the US there's the Spectrum brand of palm oil shortening. It's softer than Crisco and has a better taste, but can't handle heat.
I love vegan chocolate cake. It's one of my favorite recipes up on my channel.

Such a beautiful cake!! What kind of mixer do you use?!
Why the foil over the cake mix? Does this prevent the cake rising up and over?

Can you expain why you cover the cake with foil before you bake it

Really too gud👌
Hello there why does covering the caketins with foil do?

@@Rosiesdessertspot ok thank you
How could you make this cake gluten free?
Not sure where u are from or if u can get it but Edmonds produces a fantastic gluten free flour. Replace 1:1 for regular flour.
Fondant isn’t vegan though? I know you mentioned it’s stable under fondant.
Hi hun, there are some brands that are, particularly Orchid which can be found at Coles / Woolworths :)
Tooop ❤
4"?
hi lovely! this would have been a 6 inch cake if I recall correctly.
