I really never realized or noticed Kai until Rover. I have to say Kai is thee blue print of the expectation of excellence for how male k-pop solo artists are expected to be! He is on another level of excellence & I’m so sorry I never got into Kai & all Exo members until now. I missed out on so much talent!

This film in particular is very inspired by his life. There’s references to other choreography and performances he’s done throughout it. He’s said this album and film are very personal to him and reflect his own journey as an artist. He also said this is favorite album because he made something he likes as opposed to being worried about what others want. I think there’s a lot of themes of that in the film. He enjoyed the production a lot more because he actually took his time and didn’t have to rush like he did with Peaches.

That’s why Mama Kim cried after watching. She said Film Kai is Jongin’s life itself, probably his mama recognized about personal stories that were included in Film Kai. 🫶
@@sendymenik113 yeess, and as i remembered kai have a magazine interview and he telling a story when he in elementary school that he didn’t have a lot of friends back then, cause he had to transferred schools a lot because of his father's job, so he spent a lot of time in library reading books. And that’s very similar with slidin’ track video, his passion for reading and dancing in the same time.
