I am an actor and content creator with Hollywood credits including roles on Lucifer (Netflix), Starlight Christmas (Hallmark), JT Leroy (Universal Studios), etc. In this channel, I offer insight to Kpop performances using my 10+ years of training in dance, acting, singing and overall performance. In dance, my forte are contemporary and musicals and have done most of my performances in theatre. Although my channel is mostly known for dance analysis, I am currently inactive in the dance community.

Jongin's mom cried when she watched this film and told jongin, this film is his life story.
Which made so much sense cause jongin is a book worm, and he spent his childhood in the library because he didn't have many friends. Slidin' was that phase of his life.
This film came out later cause he filmed it just before the comeback happened, like around a week ago... he's crazyyy
Spot on Jeff...unexpected artistry. Our baby Kai is all grown up...his growth in music appreciation is so welcomed...like I said before. This is not kpop. This is Kai with alternate genres and vibes that is keeping up with the times...I absolutely love Black Mirror, and I'm trying to acquaint the visuals of that muted dance piece with the meaning of the song...which is social media conquering the human spirit, which can be very dangerous when you hide your identity and send your likeness into the world, blindly, and opening yourself up to an open void of everything in the world...good and bad...likes for a video becomes your existence, need to break free from the phone and join the human race.. which is brilliant btw...our cell phones are the black mirror, look at your phone before turning it on....but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Say You Love Me sounds so desperate...as if he killed his lover or she killed herself, or a person she cheated with was killed, that's the vibe I'm getting, because only criminals spray paint cameras, and he looks like something went too far in his desperation for her to say it again...ah, and Sinner...stellar. this whole film, bravo Kai. 💙🌺
Yes black mirror was my fav from the album. Say you love me mv had me in tears.. didnt expect emotion was evoked..
Hard to choose a favorite, the whole album is brilliant 🔥 but Sinner gives me chills every time, the way the music intensity slowly builds up and that scene when they "run" in place in the sand 😍💖
7:40 i was literally blown away when i saw this scene. The way the dancers were suspended in the air for a moment, it’s just so satisfying to watch! Kudos to the dancers and the choreographer❤
Jeff, you're so right! I really feel privileged to be living at the same time with Kim Jong In to witness his Art being created. Kai's not a stereotypical "kpop idol" (and I personally don't mean anything disrespectful by it), but one the few Artists on the global stage.

This is, once again, A PIECE OF ART! the cinematography is absolutely incredible. Each and every shot is just so aesthetically pleasing! His dancing, as always, out of this world ❤ i wish he performed Bomba in the music shows. It would’ve been such a fun stage 😢
In the concert KLOOR, Kai performed all songs with a choreo so I believe at some point we'll see all these with a full choreography as well. Yes, I wanna Bomba full version too 😅

Kai is art and there is noone like him
We really so blessed to have Kai in kpop! he's an icon. A truly amazing solo artist that brings what the solo ARTist really means.
Kai out does himself everytime I legit cried the first time I watched this. It's amazing. Also if you notice the fur coat in Sinner is almost framed like his angel wings which he throws in the trunk in rover portion of the film. AMAZING.
Just wanna share this, Kai’s mom cried after watching FILM KAI and she said to Kai that Film Kai is *Jongin’s life itself* I think mama Kim recognized personal stories that included in Film Kai that’s why she’s got emotional feeling.
For me, His Rover album has a dark concept and have so many emotions in it. I love it so much, especially Sinner that song got me emotional attack. Always loved your reaction Jeff and Rover Challenge when??
Sinner is my fave, the dark and haunting vibes the songs in this album really got me.
THIS FILM DIDN'T USED MUCH EFFECTS JUST LIKE YOU SAID IT'S A CONTEMPORARY AND WE CAN REALLY SEE THE DANCE WHICH REALLY PROVED KAI IS TRULY AN ART! HE REALLY GAVE US DIFFERENT FLAVOUR, DIFFERENT COLOURS, AND DIFFERENT PERSONA THAT'S HOW GREAT HE IS. HE DEVOURED EVERY SINGLE TIME HE PERFORMED! HE'S SUCH A MASTERPIECE!!!
The way you articulate Kai’s artistry and talent is so spot on Jeff. This is why we’re all in awe of Kai. Immense talent and charisma. He truly is special.
When I heard the album, I made a comment that I would love to see contemporary pieces. I didn't imagine anything this outstanding. He is truly out there on his own, pushing himself on to better and better things. I think more and more people are realising why SM grabbed him so young and put him out there as the first to be introduced in EXO. They knew true talent when they saw it. He's amazing.
Kai is truly an artist. He is just amazing. I keep falling in love with him ❤

When Kai ask us to watch 100 times. This is based on my personal interpretation of this film.
BLACK MIRROR - people are trying to drag him down
ROVER - Jongin & Kai. He kept his wing (Angel Jongin) and hide his personality because of the world he is facing as Kai.
BOMBA - People are keeping an eye on him on the stage and off the stage.
SAY YOU LOVE ME - Living as Kai is painful, miserable, confused.
SLIDIN’ - He is much more comfortable in the room, He can live as Jongin in the comfortable space and do a lot of reading to heal Kai.
SINNER - Although being Kai is so painful, he healed by Jongin. Kai return to the stage as this is what he loves to do the most. His passion to be on the stage.

I keep on commenting on Kai content vids because I really love this album. From the bsides, my fave is bomba - I just love the festive vibe and that choreo is something we don't always see from him or exo. But the choreo from sinner is top tier. I love the other film video or sample track (?) where he did the first part in front of the mirror. And I know we're a sucker for his ballet turns.
This album flaunts how versatile and wide his range is as a dancer/artist. Thank you Kim Jongin for this gift before your enlistment. These contents revived the fan girl in me and know that we'll be here until you come back.

the FILM KAI actually it is story of his life itself, about the pressure of society, career (Black Mirror&Rover), for the Slidin’ when he performs with the book, actually since his little, he like to read books bcoz he don’t have lots of friend, and there’s so much more explanation about the FILM KAI, what amused was that his mom cried after watch the FILM, bcoz she knew that it’s about his son

I had the same reaction as yours at the end of Say you love me, when that black hand appeared. I even screamed and covered my face! How's that? 😂 I also don't watch horror movies as I can't stand it. Final destination is fine by me as the killer is a person but I can't handle it if it's ghosts and such. 😅
