And why would you go to all the work to do that and then add rubber and grease? A metal wedge will work perfectly and much safer. Grease and rubber make a smooth, sliding surface. I'd like to see proof after much use that this worked prior to this video being posted. As for me, I'll gladly continue using a metal wedge.
Bro was I the only one that noticed duct tape on his toes? LMAO... if not it damn sure looked like it LOL or maybe the duct tape was holding the end of his slides together on that left foot? You won't catch me fucking around with a death wheel and open toes.. then again my toes are "cocked like a pistol" 😆
Well, I think you should tell your grandmother to mind her business and not pretend to know something about hammers. That handle was ground down so far it'd never have remained in place... and grease on the handle? Not hardly. Grandma didn't l tell you that sanding discs work better on wood than grinding discs?
Grandma needs to keep to her knitting, because the secret to hammer handles is doing it the way it was designed to be done, it is not that hard to cut a slot for a wedge
If not difficult, subscribe to the channel)
I hope anyone who tries this as shown in the video does not get hurt or hurt someone else.
What is the reason for the inner tube I'm not too sure
What happens when the rubber rots?

still works great
Would using glue work better than grease? Also, why cut off the extra rubber when that will help protect the handle from over-extended misses!
I think glue will work well. At the expense of trimming the rubber, this is only a matter of external aesthetics, you can leave the rubber.
That’s gonna fall off immediately… you still need a wedge. That lube will come back to bite ya.
no, it works great, the second hammer that was in the video has been working this way for 5 years now.
Tell me you don't really use your hammer seriously without telling me...
I am unsure if this is safe. Rubber only last so long. The table you are working on are also not in the best condition.
The second hammer has been working well for a long time
Advice from a DP wearing slippers.
You promote ice bag and big lump on head partnership?
