  • Want to know what it's like to have a finished carpenter do the simplest of DIY projects? A couple weeks ago my Dad, who is a fantastic finish carpenter, came to help us out with a few woodworking projects while I was recovering and Sarah was gone, and here's how it went.
Thanks to ‪@HARTTools‬ for sponsoring this episode and reminding us that we can build anything we can imagine, if we #DoItWithHART

The annoyed look on dad's face when he had to settle for the non-professional way. 🤣🤣🤣

I like “really nice”, but I only have two handheld electric saws, one hand saw, and drills. Thank you for thinking of us inexperienced DIY folks.

Ya well, I'd do it like your dad wanted, but I get your audience and it's not a bad solution since it will not exactly be a lot of concern for a lot of tension strength. It's drawer dividers.
Also, boy you guys are so much fun together. Lots of banter and it's fun to see you two hosting again! We missed that.

Knives too sharp? Store 'em loose in a drawer, so that the edges bang into stuff. 😉

Nice video and seems simple enough for me to tackle. My wife wants me to build one. Since it has been a couple of years now just wanted to know how a simple CA glue is holding it? Also are there any other tips you'd like to share. TIA and keep sharing more videos.

Tip: If using CA glue, should have used PVC or acrylic (white) to not need finish and easy to clean. Plus just glue one side, activator on other and hold together - sets instantly!

_THAT_ was the messiest drawer you've ever seen? LMAO. My drawers laugh in your face.

I can relate. You cannot even see the tops of my rag-tag assortment of Walmart plastic utensil containers. None of them fit together nicely leaving unusable voids in the drawer and it is all overflowing into each other.

Heck yeaaaa, I’m going build a kureg cup divider in my drawer now. Thanks again for the idea, I was over thinking it.

CA glue and activator is perfect for this project, definitely strong enough! 👍🏼

Came here looking for a simple solution for my out of control kitchen drawers. Was wondering what type of wood you used with this quick project?

You said that he is using 2P-10 Adhesive? I see the use of the glue, what about the activator?

Why do you put on the work aprons just to stand in front of the camera?
