Interesting looking game. Might look into this when I eventually can be distracted from Voidfall😂
@corey3145 I have a handful of really big games (Voidfall, looking at you!) that I love--kind of have to love them to justify having them--but sometimes I don't have the time or energy to play them. Nice to have some high-quality small box games too. Of course, I borrowed this one hahaha but I would definitely pick it up. Because they're generally less expensive, I leave these smaller games on my wishlists so people can gift them without breaking the bank; the giant box games I get for myself.
Lux Aeterna by the same designer and artist is also recommended--plays in about 10 tense minutes!

Thanks for the playthrough. I've had this awhile as I enjoyed my couple of games of lux ataerna. I guess I have to just dive in but getting to know the rules and cards a bit more has really helped. Thank you. BTW, I was a bit confused with what happened when you sacrificed the mirror. Could you explain? Cheers again!
@williamnickeas5788 Lux Aeterna led me to Aleph Null too (in a roundabout way), and I struggled with Aleph Null the first couple times I played it, but then once I understood it better I quite enjoyed it! This copy was borrowed, but I do have it on my list to buy it eventually.
As for the mirror at 16:18, the mirror's ability says something to the effect of "the next time a card is sacrificed, instead sacrifice the mirror, copying the effect of the first card." So when I chose to sacrifice the boline to gain 2 magical power, it instead triggered me to sacrifice the mirror (and still gain the 2 magical power), with the boline remaining in play.
The catch with the mirror is that after you summon it, it automatically triggers the very next time you sacrifice something--it's required, not a choice--so the timing of when you summon the mirror can be tricky.

Have you seen the solo Arkham Noir packs, very similar; not to confuse these with Arkham Horror LCG, a different creature all together.
@stevegeorge7773 I haven’t, and thanks for clarifying because I did think the LCG at first. It looks like there are several Noir packs-do you recommend any in particular?
@@table_for_one They are all as difficult as each other haha, with very different themes and strategies. All are quite good. They may, depending on where you are be difficult to get as they are boutique, small print runs. But if you can I recon you’ll like them. PS. What is the Wikipedia link for the background of this game you mentioned?
