For 2022, I had the Weeks for my work stuff, and the Cousin in A5 size for my daily stuff. In Weeks, I have the meetings, my urgent deliverables, my leaves and teammates' leaves. And as much as I love the size, it's quite difficult to plot meetings that keep changing. I love the A5 cousin. I use it as a gratitude journal and just a place to dump thoughts on, if I have anything I want to say. I try not to force myself. I also use the Midori notebook (forgot which kind), for my Reading Journal. Same as you, I don't like sharing my reviews online. So after reading a book, I put my thoughts about it in the notebook.
Agree on Weeks! I think for team stuff, I prefer digital like Google Calendar or Notion. I'm really torn with the Cousin cos it can be so heavy for working outside home (I don't work from home) :) But glad it's become like a catch all for you! It can definitely work as a journal more, I think! But can be a mix of planner and journal tbh. Great to have a review book, right? I find it chore-y sometimes but it can be really satisfying to log these things. Wish I had done it sooner because before 2021, I had no idea where I encountered films or where I watched them lol

Thanks for the honest review! I just placed an order for the hobonichi techo A6 planner. I've been hit or miss on planners over the years, so this is kind of a risk... But your video made me more confident that I made the right choice. I think I also need the flexibility that the A6 allows. I'm considering adding a weekly... But I don't want to get ahead of myself just yet. Haha~

I'm thinking about getting the A6 original next year. At the start of the year, I got a dupe hobonichi weeks but ended up not liking the format. I switched to the Hobonichi Avec mid year and I love it so far.
I think the Weeks format is a hit or miss! I honestly find the space so...constrained. I support the A6 original! It's now my favorite :) Avec is great, too!

I am taking a huge turn for next year -- decided on a pocket size weekly moleskine. It's very similar to the hobonichi weeks diary but moleskines are more readily available where I live and I just thought I might give it a go. I also tend to write a lot of random notes so really like the weekly format on the left and blank page on the right. Moleskine pocket sizes are more square than hobonichi so will see what I feel about it when I start next year!

I see your 🌻🌻across your life books! I enjoy watching this and it's like you're already doing a techo kaigi. In the past, I know you mentioned you like the A5 size which I was as well and I'm loving the A6 and I get what you mean about the satisfaction. Welcome to A6!!
I think I'm doing Techo Kaigi early this year so I don't get overwhelmed towards the latter half of the year. I am also realizing which ones work and don't work for me and I'm happy to be sharing my insights about them as early as I can, lol :))

I’m tossing up between original and cousin. I love the size of weeks but I find I need more space than what the weekly spreads have.
Agree on Weeks! I think space is always the issue unless you really have tiny handwriting and maybe more pages, like the Weeks Mega. But I never was tempted to get a Mega for some reason...

I ordered a weeks for meal planning, an A6 English Techo for ??? (maybe daily braindumps, maybe workout log, who knows), and an A5 Wonderland 222 because I like my Cousin but wanted undated blank pages. Those plus my 5-year will hopefully do it for me
I like how you're like "A6 English Techo for ???" don't worry, you'll figure out a use for it soon :)) Maybe brain dump or something you can bring around because the size is handy? Haha
