Hi. The company I flew with is Zambia base in Livingstone. It was called Batoka Sky. facebook.com/BatokaSky/ I bought the flight as part of a package before I went on holiday. But it is easy to buy the flight there. All the hotels in Zambia have tour agencies who will sell you tickets for what ever you want to do, rafting, flights, river cruises, animal safaris, guided walks, bungee jumping etc. You will then be collected from the hotel and taken to the airfield or what ever other activity you chose. It is a well oiled operation. I don't think there is another company. You can also do a helicopter flight. More expensive and I don't think as nice.
Hey, my family and I will be traveling through Namibia and Botswana in July - August 2017. We wanted to make a detour to the Victoria Falls on the Zimbabwean side as well and are very interested in flying over the Victoria falls by microlight airplanes. Do you know if there is another company on the Zimbabwean side, who offers this activity? Also, do we need a reservation? And if so, how far in advance do we need to book?
TheSusixX this was on the Zimbabian side. We had booked ahead, but was no necessary. We pursuaded 12 New Zealanders who were staying in the same hotel to fly. They booked and flew the same day.
What about rentig a deltapland for half an hour? A agree with the company pilot on the rear seat (because os safety regulations and flying regime). But I woud find the best spots fot taking excellent pictures and of course I'm a UL pilot with licence , too
The cynical side of me suspects 'no mobile phone' policy means they can sell you a video and photographs. The official reasons is safety. They do not want any loose items which could get entangled with the propeller, causing your and their death.
Outstanding!
I've done the Vic Falls bungi and white water rafting, when I go back this is a MUST for me!!
The white-water rafting was not running when I visited. There was too much water.
You still got the bug? Me too!
Does Batoka Sky provide you with a copy of the video?
Joe McDaniel they sell you add on packages of videos and pictures which come on a USB stick.
@@SteveTheTechy how much
Luneka Luneka I think it was $40 for the video
@@SteveTheTechy I feel 40 bucks is a heck of a lot, for a flight you have actually already paid for. They are in business I guess.
I am looking for one to buy. Anyone with infor of where to buy this microlight flight
