Hello Lovelies! First off, I'm sorry about the popcorn cardboard, I HAD ALREADY RECYLCED MY FUZZYNAVEL WINE-COOLER SLEEVE, M'KAY!
Secondly, this technique is sturdy AF and will hang with you through the ceremony tears and dancing to Toxic later. It's all about the wire around the cardboard and then gluing the ever-livin shit out of it!
Thirdly, don't hate over the low-temp hot glue gun. Some of y'all get on my page all judgy and act like I'm kicking puppies by using my glue of choice. We, at Flower Moxie, believe in tolerance and the fact there's more than one way to do things. AMIRIGHT?? If you wanna use floral glue, have at it, sister! We salute you!
PS. You can build the day before, store in fridge, and glue on the floral buds the day-of for maximum freshness!

Lol no not at ALL! I think you do a great job of explaining things and I like that I can work with you as you talk (obvi you can't see me lol but we're imaginary frensss girl haha). I can see why you feel awkward though cuz it's like hearing your own voice on a voicemail - I feel so awkward hearing my own voice on recordings. I'm just like "What am I even saying mehhhh lol" hahaha. But you're awesome so keep up the videos!!!

How long do the flowers live for? For example when should you do this before the wedding?
I'm sorry I just now saw this! I like to make mine the day before and pop it in a tubberware container and put in the fridge!

To use hot glue on fresh flowers? 😱
Like we said in our video, you can use floral glue, too! I've tested it with both and the lifespan is the same. Floral glue is a lot runnier and takes longer to set up, so using a low-temp hot glue gun and allowing the glue to cool before inserting the flowers works well for DIY'ers. =)
