    Hi, Can the Starlike EVO be purchased in Australia? I am after the Travertino colour but I can't seem to find it anywhere in Australia. In addition, I want to know if it would be suitable to repair the gap between the underneath of the coping tile and the top of the tiles of the pool. The laying of the coping tiles was originally completed with a concrete-type product. Over time this had deteriorated and has chipped and looks awful. My thought was to cover this with a grout that would be more resistant.

      Good morning Sheryl,
      Of course, Starlike EVO can be used for the application that you have described, if in the realization you also need an elastic joint we recommend, in combination with Starlike EVO, our silicone sealant Ottoseal S70.
      You can find Starlike EVO in Australia at SAS AUSTRALASIA PTY LTD - UNIT A2, 152 MILLER RD, 2162 CHESTER HILL, NSW.

    Hello, I am considering Starlike grout for bathroom but I worry a bit about one thing - is it safe to use it for 60x120cm rectified tiles with water floor heating/close to radiator? Is there any risk the tiles could crack if heat puts stress on the grout?

      Good afternoon Karolina,
      Certainly, Starlike EVO is suitable for applications on heated floors, thanks to its high performance it has excellent resistance even in the most severe conditions of use.

    Can I possibly use this as a self leveler over old tile since it is translucent ?

      Good morning, Starlike EVO does not provide for use as a self-leveling product, to see all the application possibilities visit bit.ly/3REXj5l or look at Starlike Decor for application as a decorative smoothing compound bit.ly/3g1XZzE

    Will the light colors yellow over time?

    • @LitokolGroup
      @LitokolGroup  7 місяців тому

      Good morning,
      The Starlike EVO epoxy grout is resistant to UV rays, the main cause of yellowing of joints, thus preventing color variations even in lighter shades.

      The Starlike epoxy sealant is suitable for grouting not exceeding 0.59 inches, therefore, it isn't recommended for greater sizes.

    Пропорция какая , если я не собираюсь сразу всё ведро размешать ?

    • @LitokolGroup
      @LitokolGroup  3 роки тому

      Good morning,
      To avoid mistakes, the advice is always to mix the whole bucket, in case you want to make smaller proportions you need to use a scales and the proportion is 100: 6.7 or 1000 gr part A + 67 gr part B.

      Do not use this product if you're not experienced with epoxy and working by yourself. The mixing process is exacting and might be confusing for a homeowner, and it's expensive and dries really fast. Once it's dry, it's part o f your tile whether you like it or not. If you screw up or don't wipe it in time, your only choice is to remove the tile and start over. The results are very nice but unless you're prepared to spend the money on additional product to practice on, hire a pro.
