Suggestion. Maybe do a video, perhaps broken into a series of videos, on a complete workflow using Filmora and your Mini 2. Make sure it caters to beginners that know nothing, but bought a Mini 2, maybe for Christmas, and now want to start the editing process. Thanks.

Thanks for the continued Mini 2 videos that you post here. Seems like everyone is posting Mavic 3 videos, so I appreciate that you haven't forgotten about us poor guys. I do have a question that I was hoping that you could answer. There isn't a microphone on these drones, but have you ever tried to hook one up to get actual sound? Great review Matt! Thank you!.... Answered a few niggling doubts I had. I've been using Filmora for a while but only for low res footage. But now looking to try it out on 5.1 K / H265 from my MP3 Cine. Sooo my questions for you ( as a Filmora Ambassador) are:
1. What is the highest res / quality output available?
2. Can you prepare custom template(s) for new edits so you don't have to go through the whole set up process each time you start a new project
3. Can you buy this software? As all I see are free downloads with watermarks on the finished work ( not what we want! haha)

You talk about crashes, l know a good PC van handle rendering, but there is also proxi rendor, doors this work in here too?

Hi thanks for your video I am just starting out and have just finished my first UA-cam video I started with iMovie because I have a older MacBook Pro a 2013 model and finding something that would work with it was a problem I downloaded the free trial of Filmora and started from scratch I found it easy to use at a very basic level and it worked well with my older hardware it did crash once but the auto save saved me from loosing everything and I started saving more frequently I paid for the perpetual plan before uploading so I didn’t have the watermark I am impressed with it wasn’t too expensive all I need to do now is get better at editing and learn more about it as I didn’t do or read anything before using it so I can honestly say it is very beginner friendly
I'm a real beginner. Considering purchasing the software. Can you tell me how much the software cost and if your experience with the Mac software helped you. I have zero experience in editing. Thank you.
I work with Openshot software for editing, which even is compatible with Prores which will come to Mavic 3. Sometimes it crashes, but it comes on back to the last point of recovering, which is never so bad that I have to start all over. I can also do everything as Filmora. And if some feature is missing I use Shotcut, which is free also for colorgrading. That has never failed on me..

I have the filmora video editing software and I love it. It’s easy to use and it makes my drone videos look so professional looking. How do I purchase your creative pack? I tried the link in your description but I can’t get it. Also can you make low quality videos look better with this software? And can you also edit pictures as well with this software?

Another good free video editor for drones and gopro cameras is( video proc vlogger ) no limits quite advanced software easy to use , just subscribed to your channel like your videos .
Umm,image stabilization? Does it have it and is it any good for drone footage? I'm finding most stabilization software isn't so great on the type of stabilization required for drones.
What about audio? I keep having problems with the software I'm using with adding audio to my drone videos. Thank you, this was a good review.

@@TheDroneCreative yeah 11, it's alright, main thing is the easy audio sync which is ideal for screen recording but seems ok overall mate
I use Filmora 11. Can't buy lifetime versions now (unless you know different) and the transitions and many of the graphic elements you showed are only available on pay monthly subscriptions. I got the free version software which includes watermarks unless you pay the annual fee. That being said, I love it and if there was a lifetime licence I'd buy it!
my thoughts..... only software i found that could open the files ..... really let down wish someone would let me do a one off payment that actually lets me edit on windows
Maybe it's not available in your country but in USA I'm able to buy a lifetime license
@@HugoStiglitz88 Yes..... I upgraded to Filmora 12 and was able to buy a lifetime Licence when it expired but that was only recently. Can't speak for the USA customers but it was definitely unavailable to me a few months back. Of course my Lifetime Licence is only good for all Ver 12 upgrades and a new Licence would be required for Filmora 13 (or whatever Version name they come up with if their superstitious). 😆
Can you confirm filmora works with H.265 (dji air 2 S) I saw you mentioned it but I see other videos where it doesn't? I'm working with Mac OS 12 And I don't see H.265 mentioned on their website.

Windows Photo, that is totally free works very well for my use and super easy to use. However Wondershare is really good if you want to be more proffesional.

Looking to purchase a mini 2 but can anyone confirm where to successfully download the the dji fly app. There appears to be numerous complaints about playstore etc. Don't want any issues should I decide to buy the drone
I wanna cut the video and compress it to reduce size but not lose quality what should I do Matthew ?
Downloaded and gave it a try editing about 10min worth of mountain bike go pro footage on the machine I normally edit with.
I liked it but the output (many attempts, resolutions, different formats, etc...) all are coming out unusable due to pixelation/blurryness
I expected a watermark, not a blurry mess :-(
You forgot to mention anything about Sound.
Can you add music or a dialogue track ?
Does it have music options built in that can be easily added? Real music. Not just the free generic stuff. But like hit songs from the real singers and bands?

What about music
As someone who really wants to edit but has no clue how, I am extremely put off at how overwhelming a lot of the editors appear to be…so I never even try.
Plus I don’t have a high end computer to do it on.

For the money, it's truly a great piece of software. Looks intimidating but it's not once you start the process. Also, I'm using a 12 yr old Dell with an I7 920 processor and it handles it without issue.
Matthew Been through the links you have set up and nowhere does it say how much. There is a user free and I take its for a short while. I get very suspicious about these companies that are fishing and catch you on their line and keep paying annually. Its possible just to spend all my hard earn monies on software and patrion. Microsoft use to suck it out of people until Apple gave their OS set up for the customer
