Can’t stand my faction! I buy the biggest most expensive version of the game so can have all characters…then they reveal more characters/versions of characters that can only be unlocked by playing a card game. Deluxe edition buyers should get ALL characters

Although I'm excited about the new Global Superstars pack, I'm still upset that Dragon Lee and Lyra Valkyria are behind that pack. They were in WWE long enough that they should've been in the base game.
I’ve got many issues with My Factions but making Live Events so difficult to participate in or making the match ups really unfair. This is clearly an attempt to squeeze more money out of their already paying fans.
Honestly, only Kairi Sane and Dragon Lee are the only reason I'd consider buying the next DLC. It's the WCW pack that I'm truly looking forward to. This might actually be the first time I only buy one DLC pack for a WWE game, because all of the DLC has been absolute trash this year so far.
Really surprised for the Slim Jim Macho Man, they wern't doing a cross promotion with Slim Jim. Like buying a Savage Size Slim Jim comes with a code or something along those lines.
The persona cards are a test, Just wait until 2k25 or 2k26 when 2k will replace the creation suite with the persona market, where you will have to pay real world money to unlock costumes,arenas,championships, and custom briefcases for money in the bank, basically everything you can do in the creation suite for free. A couple of other things that I’m predicting here, 1. online-mode will be combined with MyFaction mode 2. universe mode will be combined with MyGm mode 3. They will keep exhibition mode, and showcase mode, but will get rid of MyRise mode, when they get rid of the creation suite.
The moment they get rid of the creation suite, is when they lose a very large community of CAW creators and E-Fed show runners that purchase their games every year. Very bad for business.
2k, next time they should handle these entrusted items more then what they did. So there legally allowed to charge us for these items to make up what they had to pay out on that lawsuit. Such a shame this is consumerism , not gaming😢
Well I can't wait for next year's of WWE 2K25 with DLC Legends returns like Torrie Wilson, Kelly Kelly, Sycho Sid, The Nasty Boyz, Mikey Whipwreck (since in 2K16), Legion of Doom and of-course: Victoria (everybody seems so happy to see The Lady Who Been Happy With.)

I was playing as a Guest referee for undertaker versus Kane and they did the animation for the choke slam where they grabbed each other by the neck just like on tv it was the first time I’ve ever seen that Animation… I have it saved on my system it was so cool
Yall remember No Mercy story mode where if you win or lose a match determines the story line. I remember correctly losing the 2nd match would set you on the Chyna / Eddie Guerrero story line. I wish 2k would add something like that instead of my faction. And different storylines could be DLCs

It's still crazy to me that 2k wanted to axe Universe Mode and yet keep this shitshow of a mode called MyFaction. At this point they should axe MyFaction and just have these exclusive characters as extra smaller dlcs or something to release while waiting for the bigger ones to drop. I feel like they'd make a lot more money that way instead of shooting themselves in the foot and making characters exclusive to a mode that a very VERY small percentage of the playerbase plays.
Another Legend likely in "WWE 2K25" will be "The Loose Cannon" Brian Pillman. I read that Pillman's estate agreed to a Legends deal two days before WWE 2K24 was released, so too late for this game. But he could very well be a Legend in the nrxtf game, along with his son, Lexus King.

My Faction has gotten ruined with all the greed from 2K. New card packs every week on top of that u need a card form that pack to do the live event for the next 10- 20 days am not paying real money for card packs that I get the same cards over and over again. When u do have the cards to do the live event they what u to use a blue card against a pink diamond card and they what u to get 145 of them dumb points u need before u can even try to win the match with add stipulations on top of that like wtf.

MyFaction mode is the worst thing to happen to the WWE 2K games. Honestly, think of how much more time they could devote to every other mode and bug fixes if they didn't waste time on that crap. Or at least save time and money in general. I've never spent a dime on the mode and never plan on doing so. Seriously, what kind of an idiot invest in a mode like that for yearly releases anyway? I could understand if it was some live service/mmo that goes on for many years. But being a whale for yearly releases just sounds like an absolute waste and pushes the series in a bad direction.
The part that upsets about the persona card challenges is the very specific card. I'll take the real challenging match where id have to play it 5 times before winning. I'd say if they wanted to use LA Knight in order to beat that challenge to get Savage, fine, but maybe let us use ANY LA Knighy card instead of a specific one. Unfortunately, it's not gonna change cause 2Ks making money off of people buying VC in order to try and get these cards

I'm good; I've already deleted this trash from my console. They break so much with updates, I'm starting to suspect Bethesda is involved behind the scenes! Might re-install in a year or so, when they've hopefully un-fucked everything, but for now, I'm done.
I personally am sick of this MyFaction garbage and them locking shit behind the mode that I want nothing to do with. It’s a lame ass mode and they clearly only added it to nickel and dime people. I do not want this mode and I’m sick of them forcing it on me every time I start the game up too. Gives you plenty of reason, if you have a good enough gaming PC/laptop, to just mod the game and unlock all of the stuff they locked away.
DLC this, DLC that, microtransaction/paywall MyFaction BS... Yet long hair assetts still look like they did 20 years ago on the PS2 games... They aren't really improving things, basically selling the same games that we got for 20 years, but with actually LESS options (just remember the Hardcore matches' backstage locations and possibilities to mess with your oponents back there!) but wanting money for each and everything. In 2030 you get the basic game without any Wrestlers actually and have to buy them ALL seperately to begin with...
This needs to be a two disc game one for people that care about WWE stars and others that just want to create… #SSU The overlap between universe mode and the other play mode make this game twice as hard to develop, but if they split it into two would pay for both if I wanted it, and I know other fans would too their marketing scheme is literally bait and switch every single time

The persona cards are a test, Just wait until 2k25 or 2k26 when 2k will replace the creation suite with the persona market, where you will have to pay real world money to unlock costumes,arenas,championships, and custom briefcases for money in the bank, basically everything you can do in the creation suite for free. A couple of other things that I’m predicting here,
1. online-mode will be combined with MyFaction mode
2. universe mode will be combined with MyGm mode
3. They will keep exhibition mode, and showcase mode, but will get rid of MyRise mode, when they get rid of the creation suite.
The moment they get rid of the creation suite, is when they lose a very large community of CAW creators and E-Fed show runners that purchase their games every year.
Very bad for business.

I was playing as a Guest referee for undertaker versus Kane and they did the animation for the choke slam where they grabbed each other by the neck just like on tv it was the first time I’ve ever seen that Animation… I have it saved on my system it was so cool
Yall remember No Mercy story mode where if you win or lose a match determines the story line. I remember correctly losing the 2nd match would set you on the Chyna / Eddie Guerrero story line. I wish 2k would add something like that instead of my faction. And different storylines could be DLCs

It's still crazy to me that 2k wanted to axe Universe Mode and yet keep this shitshow of a mode called MyFaction. At this point they should axe MyFaction and just have these exclusive characters as extra smaller dlcs or something to release while waiting for the bigger ones to drop. I feel like they'd make a lot more money that way instead of shooting themselves in the foot and making characters exclusive to a mode that a very VERY small percentage of the playerbase plays.
Another Legend likely in "WWE 2K25" will be "The Loose Cannon" Brian Pillman.
I read that Pillman's estate agreed to a Legends deal two days before WWE 2K24 was released, so too late for this game.
But he could very well be a Legend in the nrxtf game, along with his son, Lexus King.

New card packs every week on top of that u need a card form that pack to do the live event for the next 10- 20 days am not paying real money for card packs that I get the same cards over and over again. When u do have the cards to do the live event they what u to use a blue card against a pink diamond card and they what u to get 145 of them dumb points u need before u can even try to win the match with add stipulations on top of that like wtf.

MyFaction mode is the worst thing to happen to the WWE 2K games. Honestly, think of how much more time they could devote to every other mode and bug fixes if they didn't waste time on that crap. Or at least save time and money in general. I've never spent a dime on the mode and never plan on doing so. Seriously, what kind of an idiot invest in a mode like that for yearly releases anyway? I could understand if it was some live service/mmo that goes on for many years. But being a whale for yearly releases just sounds like an absolute waste and pushes the series in a bad direction.
If they can do Jade Cargill entrance like that why they can't do the Rock the final Boss entrance the same way
The part that upsets about the persona card challenges is the very specific card. I'll take the real challenging match where id have to play it 5 times before winning. I'd say if they wanted to use LA Knight in order to beat that challenge to get Savage, fine, but maybe let us use ANY LA Knighy card instead of a specific one. Unfortunately, it's not gonna change cause 2Ks making money off of people buying VC in order to try and get these cards

Gives you plenty of reason, if you have a good enough gaming PC/laptop, to just mod the game and unlock all of the stuff they locked away.

They aren't really improving things, basically selling the same games that we got for 20 years, but with actually LESS options (just remember the Hardcore matches' backstage locations and possibilities to mess with your oponents back there!) but wanting money for each and everything.
In 2030 you get the basic game without any Wrestlers actually and have to buy them ALL seperately to begin with...
This needs to be a two disc game one for people that care about WWE stars and others that just want to create… #SSU
The overlap between universe mode and the other play mode make this game twice as hard to develop, but if they split it into two would pay for both if I wanted it, and I know other fans would too their marketing scheme is literally bait and switch every single time
