    What's your IIoT strategy?

I think you should separate terms transport and protocol when talking about connectivity. Because you can transport MQTT data over various transports

Walker Reynolds answered this question on our Discord Server! Here you go Stanislav! "Makes perfect sense to me -- but it does not make sense to the layperson -- which are our target audience for free content. We use transport and protocol inter-changeably in our content because there is no point in distracting the layperson from the message that devices with intelligence should publish their data using report-by-exception, edge-driven and open technologies. MQTT is sometimes transport (OPC-UA pub/sub) and sometimes standardized protocol (Sparkplug B). The fact that MQTT can be transported over serial or ethernet/ip or other is irrelevant (unless we are having a technical discussion about architecting a particular technology stack for a specific solution)."

Am I missing something? Why would you want to publish data to the cloud when you need it locally for control? That’s like flying to Europe to get to your next door neighbour’s house.
