Don't know that this is something you can reset. My guess, is that you have either a loose latch, or a faulty switch. If the light continues to stay on, I would assume one of these needs to be fixed.

Hi, I have CR-V EX-L 2020, I like to open the trunk manually without using the motor. This is because the car is so close to the garage door. This scenario is to open 10 inches just to pickup stuff from the trunk then close it like non motorized gate. Thanks

Had this happen! Wash washing my CRV in my driveway and while doing that the hose was lying on the ground under the rear of the car. While I was rinsing the car off the hose moved and the rear gate started to raise. Actually happened twice. Other than leaving the key inside the house how can I stop this from happening?

Thanks so much for your videos. I have a bike rack that has weighted handles that you stick inside the hatch. It automatically opens up because of the detection of the weights. Can I turn off that detection? The bike rack is approved for 2024 hybrids
after you open the tailgate and walk away will it auto lock if you set the walk away autolock feature?

question - mine is a 2020 crv ex model it has the 2 buttons outside by the plate lite but it doesn’t have the tailgate button on it. What’s up with that, thought they all had power up and down as standard equipment secondly if it doesn’t how can I adjust the opening height of the tailgate. Tks
hi, I have a 2022 crv (touring) the tailgate buttons on the key fob, at the driver's side all works perfectly, including using the kicking sensor, unfortunately, when it comes to closing, none works; i have to manually drag it down before it closes...please help me
I bought a 2020 CRV EX and I'm disappointed that I don't have the power tailgate feature. Is there a button inside the vehicle that opens it? I just came out of a 98 Honda Civic and I liked having access to pop the trunk from the inside

Hi. Very frustrated with Honda 2014 CRV. TAIL GATE NOT OPENING. Whenever it’s cold usually, between 50-60 degrees or wet, the tailgate will not open. I just have my ignition key fob. Usually have to click unlock twice, in warmer weather , it unlocks, when I get lucky, and find the right place to touch under tailgate. But in colder weather, can try for 15 min or more, nothing happens. I’m elderly, very frustrating, for me. Thanks for your help🙏🌈😊,

Does the hatch area have a way to light up. In the dark when I open the hatch, I can’t see anything in the back.

i have a touring and it will not open for me when i push the large button near the plates. the kick and fob button work. Howerver my wife can open it by pressing the large button by the plate

So I have a 2018 Honda CRV EX Sport it has no bottoms to open tailgate from the inside and from what I just saw it won't pop the trunk open even if I have the feature on the keys??? What is up with Honda even my 2013 Nissan Altima pop my trunk open with keys.. I'm kind of disappointed
my 2019 Honda Crv Touring Tailgate cant open, after pressing the big nob, or long press of the botton. the peep sound comes but the gate remains intact without opening

I have an LX 2020. Can I unlock the tailgate without the fob. Is there a manual release? Or do I have to unlock the entire car?
On the LX: You can unlock the tail gate using the button on the fob. Or, you can unlock it from inside the car off the unlock button.

Push the tailgate all the way up when open. Then press and hold the button on the tailgate until you hear the double beep.

You can set the car to lock when you either turn the engine on and/or when you put the car in drive. It's I believe in the vehicle settings of your main menu.

Right in the center. And you have to kick toward and back. you can not swipe your foot under.
