Notice how the second doctor said at 15:35, the closest relatives that I have, those that I care about, or not on statins. That speaks volumes, does it not?
@@greglopez179 type 1 is not the general diabetes it is an autoimmune disease, the main diabetes is as said caused by too many carbohydrates for that person, every person has a different level that there body copes with some can tolerate a lot of carbohydrates and others are not as fortunate, and have metabolic syndrome, which is only reduced by taking the soda and sugar and carbohydrates out of the diet.
32:05 didn't the ancient Egyptians eat a lot of grains? They constantly saving stores of grains for drought in the bible. Isn't there something about the nobles having awful teeth from the sand in the flour from being stone ground? The richer you were the more refined and ground the flour was. Wouldn't that match up with ancient Egyptians having higher rates of heart disease? I'm sure I've also heard that the army was fed on cheap grains.
Calcium score essentially misses out soft plaque which are vulnerable compared to hard plaques & stress test misses out soft plaques less than 50 % obstruction.
Soft plaque is irrelevant. It is always around and will always break off. The heart attack occurs once there is so much calcium buildup that the soft plaque can't get through then you're dead. If you can keep your plaque at the same level that is enough to keep from getting a heart attack.
There is also a difference between showing some plaque and dying of heart disease. You can have a lot of plaque before you get heart disease, and on a mostly meat diet it would be very hard to get enough plaque to eventually get a widowmaker.
Hi I'm 48 years, I'm running from high school and still I run every day 4 miles but recently I found out that I have calcium score of 136 on (LAD) Left Anterior Descending 136(AJ-130) 23(Mass) 45(Volume-130). Normal BP: 120/80 Glucose is normal (89/Fasting) Triglycerides 93 HDL 59 VLDL 16 LDL 154 Total Cholesterol 229 EKG is normal, Stress test is normal and Nuclear test is normal Except CAC/LAD: 136 My Cardiologist prescribed atorvaSTATIN and Aspirin. I tried few doctors and all doctors are saying take both everyday forever. I'm really lost in all directions. Any advise is really appreciated.
Love U all and yes it is night time and I am tired. Thank you for reminding me of a (see 08:40 ) coaching session back in time where a nice lady made it quite clear to us how to hold a wireless microphone when seated in a mindfull and memorable way ;) Nadir you are a bad arse cardiologist. I hope to be your philantrophist one day.
I Agree lots of hypothetical guesswork and group think.. If they really looked at the evidence for evolution they may find it even less convincing than the evidence for mainstream nutrition and statin use!

LCDH: Please do us ALL a favor and provide clearly the DATE of the events, (virsus date of your upload, and let us know also if it's your repeat upload). In this case I see 2020 - which was a very long year. Which date in 2020 did this event take place. Same request for ALL of your (lame) repostings. I must call them lame as you are preventing the viewing public from knowing the when/where and more specifics as to the initial video. Do we not a a right to google this, and find out more for ourselves? We may, in fact, be interested in more resources available from the events/speakers. Thank you!
I will add, so long as you are sucking us into re-viewing vids, as they are inadequately labeled - might you please create TIME STAMPS, so at least we can aim toward to subject matter of interest? Thank you again.
I'd be quite surprised if they hadn't decided for themselves of the validity of evolution much prior to arrival at university level. Remember, these are four very bright minds, a number of them science-oriented. Others just MD's.
Calcium score is for hard calcium plaques, would a CT Angiogram enough to know the level of soft plaques. If both calcium score and CT Angiogram are fine, is there a high probably that your heart is more or less healthy?
There is no reason to care about soft plaques. Your body will constantly throw off bits of plaque but this only becomes a problem once your hard plaque level is so high that the clot cannot make it through then the artery clogs and you get a heart attack. You can learn all about this in some of Ivor Cummins's talks about the CAC score.
There is a very thorough debunking of the 2-3% difference theory of chimps to humans. Same kind of sect I’ve science that got us in this “fat is bad” myth seems like to me.
You can check Robert Lustig MD on youtube he has a really great video about it. Also check out Paul Jaminet perfecthealthdiet.com/category/disease/liver-disease/ "Polyunsaturated fats are usually a factor in liver diseases. As we discuss in the book (pp 57-58), polyunsaturated fats - either omega-6 or omega-3 - combined with alcohol or fructose are a recipe for fatty liver disease and metabolic syndrome, especially if micronutrient deficiencies figure in the mix."
Intermittent fasting with low carbohydrates diet will remove stomach fat and lower fatty liver which is nothing to do with fat, fatty liver is caused by sugar, carbohydrates bread flour rice pasta.
Oh dear. They don't even believe in 'creation'. No less your shouting it with all caps. They are highly evolved . . . I think a couple more than others, intellectually, at least.
Just because you can do something (Eat Meat) doesn't mean you should...TBH... I believe for someone to change from eating meat to longer eating meat...This will ONLY happen for a couple reasons probably more reason but the two major ones 1.) Spiritual 2.) Health (life or death situation.. eventually tho I believe after someone drops meat and starts eating plants they see things differently Ex. People can I understand why meat isn't the best option in a spiritual way... This is why it's so hard for people to stop eating meat.. Because it has to be a spiritual change.. just my opinion
I thought these conferences were on hold. No masks, no distancing, a live audience? I'm confused. Per a Google search, this conference actually took place in March 12 - 15. So now the question is: why did it take 10 months to upload? Hmm...
Nadir Ali never fails to educate me. Such a fine intellect and caring soul.
I think LCDU is doing a great job with these discussions... Thank You!
They have changed my life and indeed the health of my family (62, 46, 16 and 6 years old) this year THANK YOU
Keto's Beatles.
High - Larious!
Well! If there was ever a panel of academics that I am star struck by, its definitely this one!

Absolutely it does.
Amen!
Egyptians had a high grain diet. That's why their society was subject to more CVD than other traditional paleo societies more than a century ago.
My observation is that Diabetics are carb addicted, especially to simple sugar.
Type 1 I would disagree

Their grain was not refined or gmo.
The wealthy, 'lucky' grain eaters had rotten teeth due to carbs breaking down/feeding microbes that helped in the process. No sand necessary.
Dr. Nadir is brilliant!!! He should go on tour educating doctors. Everyone needs to hear this!
He really is! He’s my mom’s doctor and he’s so smart and kind. He used intermittent fasting and carnivore diet to help my mom.
It was the production of industrial cooking oils. That's the main culprit.
Why are you knowledgeable brilliant guys ALL drinking from plastic bottles? I just don’t get it
Drinking from a plastic bottle once, is not going to do long term damage.
If they were studying the effects of plastic in the body, I'm sure they would refuse the water bottles, but that's not what they are studying.
Be brave guys. No statin ever!

I wish how thoughtful n knowledge doc are in Australia ...
Re mummies. Egyptians ate a lot of bread. Maybe that is why they had evidence of heart diseases.
There is also a difference between showing some plaque and dying of heart disease. You can have a lot of plaque before you get heart disease, and on a mostly meat diet it would be very hard to get enough plaque to eventually get a widowmaker.

Have all the panelists had a calcium score test?

Do people have to believe that they evolved in order to be on low carb? It sure seems to be the group think :(

Enjoyed the information, but the moderator was a poor moderator. Did not do his job to keep things moving and interesting.
Agree 100%. Dull event, as a result.

unfortunately this had nothing to do with low carb ???

Check out YT vids featuring Jame DiNicolantonio, author of The Salt Fix. Basically, he says don't fear salt, get plenty
5 grams per day according to the keto Reddit groups. This varies from person to person of course
Your body regulates salt very well so as long as your not going stupid your body will deal with it appropriately and easily.
Read the salt fix by James Dinicolantonio.

You have to eat animal products or you will die. Stop spreading vegan lies.
HH The Dalai Lama eats meat. Hitler was a strict vegetarian - not even eggs. I just destroyed your statement with facts. Have a nice day.
so we should eat tons of veggies every day and get unhealthy to get spirits higher? I think not.
We did not evolve from apes. We r created in the image of God. Nevertheless, i love keto.
Our separation is much more than 2-3%.
A gene is totally arbitrary construction that equates to one protein. It is basically meaningless for determining ancestry in any way.
I've personally seen first hand some WAY less than 1%.
Evolution is in the Hand of God every good and perfect Gift comes from the father to Him be honor and Glory forever
The Randell cycle underpins the need to ear carbohydrates and plant based materials unless you have no other choice.
Lies
The human body produces its own sugar of necessary. babies are born in ketosis. Plants are poison to humans.
MDs are so effing lame. Become *real* doctors, then come back & blather on & on.
