When working for Wigan Council. I was working on Sunday morning. I was walking up King St and saw a few sleeping bags piled up. I put a can of soft drink (Coke) beside it and walked off. On the way back down, I found a can of cider, I picked it up and walked to the sleeping bag pile (The soft drink was still there) and put the cider down. Half a second later, the cider was gone, into the pile. :D

Though we are warriors of a town thats now like a ghost town. Talks of making it better have been going for years. Warrington is the best town centre. Cheap parking and it has everything.
Hi Billy there's several new developments on the council estates near me all the old office buildings have been turned into rooms to take the homeless off the streets! The problem is with the homeless in wigan town centre is there all addicts they beg for money at different supermarkets and shops then congregate and buy drugs n alcohol. Yes we have a lot of migrants most riding just eat electric bikes working! The wigan homeless choose not to work or get off drugs n alcohol. To help these people is to not give em money because it funds their habit. I had an experience were a lad and his girlfriend were in a sleeping bag in 1 of the door ways I went in McDonald's and got em a meal and even got their dog a plain burger ,! The gratitude I got was you should have given us the money instead you c#%t So in respect to the good people of wigan most of our homeless don't want the secure rooms and help

People see homeless people and ignore them you never no what there going threw they are someone's family at the end of day 😢 my brother was on the street homeless Christmas day he suffered mental health problems and was picked up and sectioned Christmas day and put in a secure hospital saying he was a danger to him self and others sadly he was put in a room with a lighter and he set him self on fire and died Christmas day 😡 he was in there care 6 hours and this happened we his family had to go see him unrecognisable in hospital while they turned his life support off worse day of my life nothings the same now he's gone the hospital are under investigation as a member of staff have passed him a lighter instead of taking him out side for a cigarette Pendle view hospital in Blackburn needs shutting down miss my brother loads and its broke my family #mentalhealthmatters 💔
