Hoon, can we go further with light roast down to 1:4 ratio? I'm trying with a Guatemalan type & the info on the internet advises high yield for this type. Actually I tried with 10g & yielded 45g. It was sweet, a little bit acidic with a sweet finish. I just wondered if I did the right thing regarding going further down to 1:4 ratio. Thanks for this wonderful video 👏.
I find that dialing in a light roast w/ my bes870xl requires a lower dose (around 15-16 grams), while still maintaining a very fine grind size
So amazing man 🙆🏽♂️
Hoon, where do you get your paper filters to fit the Breville portafilter?
Ikape sells them on Amazon.
@@patriciawest8105 Thanks!
I suck at steaming milk!! So yes teach Lol
It amazes me that people have to spend so much money on such a cheap appliance that they could spend another $1K more and get a grinder that will last for years. Breville are just appliance graded machines
That's why even though I like to drink milk drink I still opt for a Flair signature for my "first dip" into espresso and get a good quality 1zpresso hand grinder instead. With a device like the nanofoamer I can create a great milk drink that is better than those out of a cheap espresso machine. Yes it's not practical and messy and take a long time to prep, but the result is so good that I rarely go to cafes these days lmao. And when I do, I ended up disappointed as my beans quality at home is often much better.
