INS Vikrant has set a milestone in our navy fleet which show how we have been emerging toward progress day by day. This aircraft carrier will provide a certain edge in the war, meanwhile, it will also work to deliver humanitarian aid to other countries in the crisis times. It has multimode use. After Vikrant being a part of the navy now India has two aircraft carriers one is the Vikrant and the second one is Vikramaditya, both ships have equipped with the latest technology of the present. With this ship, we can strengthen our position more in the Indian ocean. Our vision and action are only to protect our country and defeat those who will fight against India.
Its all about immediate priorities and available funds. Its not just making carrier its about having more subs , replenishment ships , destroyers fleet etc to defend the carriers. Yes we need one more carrier but its better tò have more aircraft fleet , N subs and destroyers for now adequatly equipped with potent weapons pack inspite of focussing only on tonnage increase. Better to achieve immediate milestones without any further delays then go for another carrier in next 2-3 yrs.
