6/6/24 this is the best wishing well with directions and blueprints. Your directions were excellent precise it to the point and understanding. I made a couple of modifications and streamlining the roof and side posts for the crank. Used the block stop at a 45 to take one inch off the roof board corners, came out excellent with still a 3-in overhang. Wife inspected and loved.Thank you very much Paul 👍

I can’t get to cut the 1 3/4 inch with my miter saw I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.. everything else I got ready your instructions are perfect .. please help me with this cut . How can I do it😥😥
It is a tricky cut. Mark the middle of you board and set you miter saw to 45 degrees. You may have to sneak up on that mark but cut the 45 so it ends up on that mark (middle of your board). Hope this helps.

Did you use all cedar? Is there a material list for this well?
Framed with decking boards and the rest was done in cedar. I have a picture of all the parts used if you follow the link to the drawings in the description.

Thanks for the instructions. I just finished building one basically just like yours. First time working with wood so it’s a bit rough.
We have a wellhead and we intend to place it on top of it. The wellhead has a cap. Is that safe, and will it be ok to place the structure on top of it? I saw you guys had gravel like stone around your wellhead. We have grass growing around it. I think I’ll cover it with gravel and then place the wishing well structure. Does that sound good? Thanks!
@@navidsoroush8777 I apologize, just now saw this. Yes, it is safe. Just make sure it can be moved if you need to do maintenance. I covered the area with gravel to make it easier to level and mow around.
