+flipmode 1009 we donate about 80% of the items that can still be reused to either families in need or local charities.. Unfortunately places like Goodwill have been real picky lately about the items that they take and we don't have a place to store these items. Hopefully over the next six months or so we will find more places to donate these reusable items so we can lower our impact on the landfill even further.
Best thing I have ever bought for my busness is my dump trailer 7x14 with 2 -1/2 foot sides and roll up tarp for 6500 new No more handling things twice
+Kirk Niles We have contemplated for a while on what will be the next addition to our business (dump trailer or box truck?). If it was to be a dump trailer, the 7' x 14' with 2 -1/2 to even 3 -1/2 side walls would be the perfect choice for us.. but right now we seem to be leaning towards a 17' Box Truck.
OK...I am going to be honest. When I first saw you taking out the couch I thought it was going to be a problem, but you got it. Then with the second couch I was sure I was going to be right that time...I wasn't. You handled those like a champ !!! My ONLY critique is the rat should NEVER have been released. IMO it should have gone to the ASPCA and found a good home. Im not a PETA freak but no non native species should be introduced in to the eco system (eg...pythons in Florida). Still a great group of videos. BTW what is the most interesting item you have ever found ?
+Jennifer Hutchinson I don't believe that has ever taken place yet. If Video documentation is ever needed, that usually takes place long before we're ever called in to do the junk removal.
+Ethel Patnaude .. Unfortunately we could not take a break in the middle of the work day to run an errand like that, nor did we have something to really keep him in until we get to a pet store.. It would have been different if we weren't at work or at least in the same county as we live in.. We were just following directions from the property manager of the apartment complex.
+Deandre Atkinson we've received your email and we will get back to you shortly, our schedule has just been so crazy lately. If you feel comfortable, you could always ask me the questions in the comment section on the videos. We will help out the best we can.
+Deandre Atkinson first check with your local City & County offices to see if they have any special requirements. (I know very little about Ohio's rules and regulations)... you will also want to look into how and where you will be disposing of the items and what those fees will cost you. That's definitely very important in helping you set your prices.. some states and counties have higher disposal fees than others.
A & J's Removal Services, LLC. You did the best that you could have done in those circumstances. It's the original owner of the pet rat that should be held accountable for abandoning him. At least the rat was able to run free for once in his life.
that rat is going to be eaten by some animal loving woman's cat named FLUFFY , PEOPLE THAT LOVE ANIMALS AND HAVE CATS do more damage to animals then people that hate animals
WTF, this is a pet rat and it will not survive outside. You even mentioned how fixed it was on humans. First the fucking owners left him behind and than you go and abandoned him as well. Sorry but this sucks, even if you didn´t know better. Common sense should tell you what is right and what is wrong !!!
+SnooShee .. It had nothing to do with common sense.. it was a Saturday, code enforcement was closed and wouldn't come out, and I was at work.. that was the best we can do.. think of it this way, that rat became someone else's lunch.. I did that animal a favor.
You did this animal a favor? You´re just full of "it". Tell yourself that shit, so you feel good about yourself. Unbelievable how stupid, lazy and heartless some people are. One call to the police and they would have called animal control, because this was a case of animal cruelty and the owners should have been hold acountable. Sadly this world is full of people who just don´t care for what´s right. So the only thing i´m left to say after your answer is " F... U" !!!!
+SnooShee It was Saturday and code enforcement was closed for the weekend.. We also had other clients to service that day in multiple counties.. Was I supposed to leave him in our hot truck while we were doing service calls?
You know, i´m someone who doesn´t look away, so i found a lot of animals and sometimes, when i really had other things to do. But where´s a will, there´s a way. There is nothing more to say.
SnooShee did you expect them to lose time from work? Also were they not supposed to listen to what the client instructed them to do. I would have done the same thing.
GOOD WORK !!! Not easy and you do a great job.
Thanks
Good job onto the cleaning I just have one question what do you do with all the junk you bring out the homes

A & J's Removal Services LLC oh okay thank you for replying back
+flipmode 1009 no problem at all... if you ever have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask.
i think i will get one of that rolling thing you are using it is looking quite helpful, thanks
+Rafal Scrapper .. We got a lot of use out of it.

Good job to I love the videos keep them coming
+Mark Risjan .. Thanks
Good job on the clean out guys, it's too bad that owner left his pet rat there, not a very nice way to treat an animal. Take care guys, Chris
The poor little guy had the run of the apartment for a few weeks.
There is still someone out there in 2016 who doesn't have a flat screen TV? OMG!
+Diego Perez Approximately seven months ago we did a bereavement clean out and found a 19 inch Zenith black & white TV in the Attic.
Diego Perez I still have one in my guest room that I never use. LOL
Good Job Guys!!!
+Sky Aguilar Thanks
Good job!!!!!
Thanks
great video
Thanks .. We're glad that you've enjoyed our experiences.
That rat will not make it. It's a house pet.
+Henry Lee .. It was unfortunate that we didn't know anyone that could take it.
Love it
Thanks Brian

+TLC We tried calling code enforcement but they wouldn't come out on the weekend. As for the couch, I was having a bad day. lol
Don't worry about the rat. It was owl or snake food within 24 hours. Albinos are like bullseye targets for owls especially at night.
+AmbientShade Everybody's gotta eat.. LOL
+AmbientShade I guess it was that or live life in a cage.
In the middle of the work day, I would have had to do the same thing and let it go in the wild.
Squatters ?
Luckily we've never dealt with squatters.
I hear they make decent pets.
Cute from afar
Do the landlords use you and your videos to take these people to court?
+Jennifer Hutchinson I don't believe that has ever taken place yet. If Video documentation is ever needed, that usually takes place long before we're ever called in to do the junk removal.
A pet rat o.k.
I might of kept him if he wasn't fully grown.
You should have taken the rat to a pet store. He isn't going to live outside.

Thank you for getting back to me, I do understand why you had to do what you did. Hope the little guy adapts to his new surroundings
@@AJsRemovalServices You did the right thing!
I hate rats
Agreed
do you guys have a personal/business email? i would like to ask you guys/gals a few questions?
+Deandre Atkinson we've received your email and we will get back to you shortly, our schedule has just been so crazy lately. If you feel comfortable, you could always ask me the questions in the comment section on the videos. We will help out the best we can.
A & J's Removal Services LLC , okay thanks! i understand, im just curious on what to charge and what type of business license would i need?
+Deandre Atkinson where do you live, are you in the US?
A & J's Removal Services LLC , yes, i currently live in akron, ohio

Atleast the rat will die in the wild and not in some dank apartment. :/
+Dark Dubbs .. We're hoping he lived forever.. But realistically we know how the Circle Of Life works.
Agreed
wtg 1 dead pet rat it wont know how to defend for its self if its blind or find food
+paul harness .. Unfortunately it was Saturday and Animal Control wouldn't come out for 2 days... At that point the client instructed us to Let It Go.
