    Happy New Year!
    I have decided that this year will be a year of positivity. I want to learn to love and accept myself as I am, instead of seeing only flaws. I want to learn to let go of things that are out of my control. I want to live healthier - emotionally, emotionally and physically.

    Your channel and IG was one of my favorites of 2020. I want to thank you for being such a vocal Ally this year. It can be frustrating to see so many well-off "influencers" be silent on such hurtful issues just because they don't want to upset brands stuffing their pockets.     What you said about "living well" vs being strict and goal oriented totally resonated with me, especially after last year. What did NOT resonate was the notion that anyone could find you irritating! Thank you for providing such a calming, positive space for us. You are such a treasure 💕

    The only resolution I had made for myself this year is to read more. I only read 4 books in 2020. I did read one book over the weekend and I started my second this morning. I am working with my therapist about healthily watching what I eat. I have numerous health issues, that would benefit from eating healthy and exercising. Several years ago I had an ED, and it has taken a long time to accept that recovery is an on going process and not a destination. I had a doctor tell me a few years ago, that with my autoimmune disease it would be nearly impossible to maintain my weight, much less lose weight. So my goal with my therapist is learning to do things in moderation, not one extreme or the other. Relapses happen, and I’m not a horrible human being for not being able to avoid them completely.

    My goal is definitely just to be gentle with myself. I find I get a lot more done if I don't set myself hard goals and deadlines, so this year I am giving myself leniency and doing the things I love and seeing where it takes me

    I struggle with organizing items in an aesthetic way so if possible, could you film a video when you get to it or figuring out a system. ✨

    The beginning of isolation was very hard for me even though I am an introvert, but it has helped me focus on taking better care of myself. I want to continue to tweak and build on living clean, upping my exercise (more body strength exercise), ridding our home of any toxic dishes (ordered some coconut bowls & spoons), I want to learn more about Wim Hof and give it a try, be neater in my day planner as I tend to scribble all over it (bought a pretty A5 binder with inserts), and do more journaling. Phewww! This week I ordered a weighted blanket for better sleep😁, and a silk pillow case for my hair, trying to love and care for it as well.

    For body awareness: I found that ballet was the thing that connected me to my body the most. I mean you could maybe do dance if any kind but ballet is SO specific about body use that you just get more aware.

    I didn't set any with myself this year, but these sound reasonable! I think these kind of goals are the kind we might need for 2021. I just want to work a little with my mental health and get back to a loving place with myself. I started already so might keep working on it! I should also do a little cardio, I used to hoop and it was so much fun. But I've fallen off the wagon, hopefully I can do something this year.

    "You're shoulding all over yourself!" was advice i heard a few years ago that I also took to heart. Awesome to see you talk about it. I'm trying to enforce my boundaries harder and speak my mind more often. I want to keep my mind fed and continue clearing out bad mental habits. Love & luck to you in the new year. 🖤

    These are some great resolutions! I've been working on a lot of the things that you mentioned. My intention for 2021 is to focus on self-compassion. I have a lot of anxiety, so I am trying to do more to help calm and relax myself. I have been practicing yoga and meditation daily, which does help some. I'm not sure if I've ever commented on one of your videos before, but I just want to say that you are a joy to listen to, and I really enjoy your mental health content!     One of my resolutions this year is to really throw myself into UA-cam. I started my channel last year and I’m really proud of myself for taking that leap, but I still think I’m holding back a little (fear of judgement, failure, etc) but it is a creative outlet I really enjoy. With the UK in even more lockdowns now too it’s a great time to have something that is both creative and feels productive.
    You are a huge inspiration to me as a content creator, even though our channels are very different in focus. I hope you have a great year, however that ends up looking!

    Getting rid of negativity is my number one, and not letting stress run my life is my second. I also want to try digital planning, there are a lot of options on Etsy. But I also wouldn’t get rid of my physical planner

    My goals for the year are to declutter and use up the things I have. I feel like with lockdown, I've been buying and buying to fill some sort of need. I also want to dedicate time every day to yoga and meditation :)

    I think what I'm going to do as far as planning goes for this year is .. import things onto my apple calendar or into my notes app like lists of things I need to work on or get done... then dissect it from there into a physical daily planner maybe every few days ?? I don't know yet haha. (currently looking at a few different ones on MochiThings rn). I used to love bullet journalling but couldn't keep up with the monthly spreads.. and then I would feel overwhelmed because maybe it's almost the following month but I haven't done the spread yet haha ugh !!! so my last bullet journal ending up just kinda becoming a notebook, which I like as well so I'm not stuck with a planner that doesn't work for me ???? .... would love to hear your thoughts on that as your progress and find what works for you !! I think we think the same lol. I also agree with you on the 'putting things away' thing... my husband always yells.. not really yells lol but "yells" at me for piling my stuff on the table or leaving a bunch of stuff out... but I do feel the same... if I put it away in drawers or whatever... then I'll totally forget about it .... but then if there's too much crap out.. I'll get distracted hah. totally agree with you on that lol.

    I can not put into words how calming your videos are to my anxiety. Thank you so much for looking after us all, I hope you know how much you help some of us. 💕 (Side note: my apple watch gives me a nudge when my heartbeat is over 100 and it happens all of the time and I have no idea why... I think anxiety has a lot to do with it as in my sleep my heartbeat is half the speed, ha-ha. Hopefully, we can both slow our heartbeats a little X)

    Happy New Year! I am trying something different this year and trying monthly resolutions. For January I'm doing cardio each day, eating keto or paleo, and not buying anything other than fuel, food, and necessary household items like toilet paper. For the year I have 127 hiking spots picked out. 125 more to go.

    I appreciate what you said about not following people who make you feel bad in some way, intentionally or otherwise. There are influencers and other people in the beauty/wellness community that I respect but I have difficulty keeping up with because of my own insecurity. It's just something I'm still working on about myself, and something I'm aware of, and something that can really cause me to struggle and misstep as I work towards a better relationship with myself. I struggle to not compare myself to others or value myself based on my physical appearance, and I shouldn't feel guilty about limiting my exposure to people who, unwittingly and through no fault of their own, prompt feelings of not being good enough. They will still be there as I work through this with myself, and some people I have gone back to once I was able to enjoy their content without that insecurity weighing me down. I need to let myself be ok with that.

    My resolution is to try and work with my new ADHD diagnosis and not against it. I’ve DM’d you before, but you sharing your journey being diagnosed as an adult woman with ADHD helped me recognize the struggles I was going through and work with a physician to get my own diagnosis. Pretending my brain works like everyone else’s and as it has in the past is silly.

    These sound almost exactly like what my goals are for 2021 I too have Tachycardia that shits no joke! I definitely put off exercise due to it. I’m planning on seeing a cardiologist just to be safe. Thank you for the video it was a big help. Love you!!

    Something I did was delete my Instagram account and make a private one to follow people who I believe align with some of my values and help encourage me. There’s so much negativity in the world, I shouldn’t purposely surround myself with stuff that make me feel bad.

    For the past however many years I've been alive (32.... 33....) I always set goals/resolutions. And I literally always fail. I started following IO on IG. And they gave a wonderful alternative to goals/resolutions for people who always feel kind of poopy at the end of the year (especially considering the year we just had). It's making a more/less page. So for example, on my more side, I listed "find peace and happiness in movement of my body" instead of exercise more/lose weight. Because just listing exercise never helped me. I want to find happiness in HOW I'm moving my body to get healthy and actually enjoy the task of exercise. So now instead, I'm focusing on looking and trying activities that I find enjoyable that just happen to be good for me! And on the less side, I put comparing; comparing my choices (like exercise) to others and what works for them. I have this bad habit of feeling guilty when something my boyfriend or friend enjoys exercise wise (like hiking... BLEH. I love nature but my knees hate it) and I don't like it myself. I want to do those things, but I don't enjoy it. And then I get stuck in this bad mindset of hating that activity because I didn't enjoy it for me. Am I making any sense? lol anyways, this wasn't a dig or anything at goals or resolutions, I'm just speaking from my own experiences and trying to take a different approach this year. WOW, I had a lot to say lol I should talk to people me hahahaha

    Couch to 5k changed my like when it came to cardio!
    Digital planning-wise Notion is revolutionary, check out Marie Poulin's videos on it. She is so amazing and also a plant mum. I tend to use my physical planning for day-to-day and personal stuff and digital for work projects and financial goals etc.

    Happy new year!! I also have anxiety and a high heart rate. I got an Apple Watch as well and ended up having to change when it warns you about a high heart rate because it's set at 120bpm and would end up increasing my anxiety every time it went off(love anxiety don't we??). Anyway thought I'd let you know my struggle with Apple Watch from one anxious person to another!

    Thanks for the suggestion on clearing out my social media subscriptions! I just did my first comb through of the UA-cam and Instagram pages I follow and it felt so great to hit that unfollow/unsubscribe button!!! I’m going to give it another look through tomorrow.

    Having PCOS I have to avoid pushing my heart rate. In order to keep it down I just do slow weighted workouts and pause a minute when I feel it going faster than normal. This is great if you want to gain strength.
    I'm at a point where I can wrestle my bf and win 😂

    You might like my friend Beth's cardio TheLimitFit, it's dance and HIIT and so so fun! I'm also working on improving my heart health this year and I find my little heart getting stronger after just a few classes with her! Also for digital planning, I love notion.so and I use a stylus to write in it to get my paper fix using the google handwriting app!

    These are such nice resolutions, You’ve motivated me to choose some later ❤️
    Heart health is so stressful when it’s bad, I was just working out my meds/lifestyle to take care of that. 130 after 30 minutes laying down? 😅 I’m sure you’re already working with your doctor on it, maybe ask them about a beta blocker if it applies to you? Mine really helps to control tachycardia and (previously low, now higher) blood pressure.

      I'm so glad you're going to pick some kind resolutions too!
      Next check up i'm going to mention it again but so far the worst episodes have been caused by medications. I am trying to make sure its not iron-related in the meantime because i guess anemia can be a cause too but i do have close family on beta-blockers so i'm open to that if it comes down to it!

    I resolve to be easier on myself mentally, and take better care of myself physically.
