There's so many benefits for a weight blanket. My son has one he uses in his school. Between an exercise ball chair that helps him keep engage on classwork and the weight blanket that helps his anxiety and sensory issues I have seen how his level of stress when he's heading to school has reduced tremendously. FYI not as beautiful as yours, but his medical insurance actually coverd the weight blanket.

I've been using nuud (it's an anti-odorant not a deodorant) for a couple years now and I love it. I only have to put it on once every couple of days which is great because I would otherwise forget. You can shower, shave, and it doesn't transfer onto your clothes. Completely vegan and sustainable company.
I love weighted blankets! 💕 Definitely feel more refreshed but I have the most vivid, crazy dreams whenever I use it, lol.
That cookbook is on my wishlist! I’ve really been into Rainbow Plant Life here on UA-cam. I haven’t bought her book, because it’s all about instant pot cooking and I don’t have one. I love the recipes I’ve tried from her videos.
I have a blanket that is pretty weighted and I cannot live without it. It's winnie the pooh 🤣 it was a blanket I used for my daughter's on the floor when they were babies and it just ended up with me over the years ... My husband laughs because I'm like "where's my blankey" I cannot sleep without it... It's soooo comforting and makes me feel "whole".

I'm still figuring out how to sleep best with my weighted blanket but it does help with getting sleepy and calming hyperactivity. I also went higher weight than reccommended but got used to it after one night and it feels great!

I am also loving my weighted blanked. it is 7.5 kg, also heavier than recommended for my size. And like you omg my sleep and my energy is better. Thank you so much for helping me take the step to finally buy it. I now go to my blanket every time I feel overwhelmed and helps. I got one for 47 E. and I just put it with my warm comforter, is perfect cos I am always cold. (I also have a set of fancy Wusthof knifes never going back)

What a great Favorites video! I have been wondering about the weighted blankets for a while now. I'm worried about them being too heavy. I'm very claustrophobic! Especially with clothing. Love the pretty glassware!! I have a smaller version of the knife and I love it. They sharpen back up very easily, too. Going to have to try the pimple patches for my hormonal outbreaks. I'm a picker, too, and often make things worse, so that the healing takes way longer than it should. Thanks for showing us all these great products!!

Your favorites always end up being my favorites lol! I'm GOING to get one of those woven weighted blankets. I have a glass bead one, but washing is a concern. Also this is my second glass bead one, as my rabbit decided to taste the first one. A year later, I still step on glass beads. People are loving the one intended for hot sleepers, I see!
About the pimple patches: apparently, you can get full rolls of this stuff, and you can cut it to size! I forgot I had some Mighty Patches until you mentioned them, and I had just sprouted some maskne on the side of my nose (he has since been eradicated). Again, thank you for this reminder!

And you totally can get larger sizes of hydrocolloid but i heard the regular bandages are sold out everywhere because of that so i stuck to the specific spot ones so i'm not taking the ones for injuries off the shelf.

Santoku knife! It's the only knife I use in the kitchen. Small things, big things, medium things, all the things are cut with our Santoku knife.

You should ask your dentist if you can keep the lead apron on! I ask mine every time I go-- even when I'm not getting an xray! It helps me a lot with my dentist phobia.
Ah that's awesome that they accommodate that, i bet its way more comfortable with it on! My dentist's office usually has several people on the go at once so i wasn't sure if it was a shared item but maybe i'll ask next time! x

I love the iWatch! I have heart failure and it has been super helpful to keep track of all that. Including my heart rate while I am exercising...while working out is helpful for me I have to keep my rate under a certain amount due to my ICD and recommendations by my doctor. Love it!

I so agree about cardiac health being a really good motivator. I listened to an interesting podcast from the world service with a segment on some research which showed that people who suffer from panic attacks often have hypermobility too. They were clear it's not necessarily a causal link but there is a definite correlation. They said it's to do with the kind of tissue structure of joints and the heart. I was interested because I have both and I remember you saying you're v flexible. Paying attention to heart health can only be a good thing for resetting your relationship with your heartbeat right? Keep going! So worth it.

I loved this video! I'm a huge fan of those Hero patches as well. I haven't tried the ones in the green package yet, but I will now. I've also been using that deodorant based on one of your 2020 faves videos and I love it! I have some questions about your Apple watch, if you have time to answer. I've been thinking about getting one for a little while now. I'm a little nervous because I've had two different Fitbits and got shocks and pain in my wrist/hand when I wore them. I've heard others say that happened to them but not with Apple, so I'm hopeful. I'm assuming you have the 6 because of features. Is it the aluminum or stainless steel one? Do you have a screen protector? Have you found it durable/no scratches? I love the "closing your circles" concept! And your band is awesome. It looks like it isn't available as an option without paying extra, which is unfortunate, but I love the stretchiness and no buckle.
I wanted that weighted blanket so bad in the velvet and it sold out. Can’t wait. My son has one and he sleeps much better.

I don’t know if it’s the same for you but there are weeks I can literally don’t put deodorant and I won’t even smell and other weeks I have to put so much of it because I stink like CRAZY (my father is always shock as how much I can smell 👃🏻)

Love ur channel. About the weighted blanket this sound really odd strange but I find I sleep better when my 80 lb boxer lays on my legs with his head on my tummy he knows when my anxiety picks up n sences when I'm about to have an anxiety attack .. thanx for sharing love ur vids

How does your weighted blanket fare for keeping clean? Is it something you can wash at home, or do you have to take your’s to get cleaned? I have been doing some research on them, and a lot of the blankets I have seen do not give washing instructions. I have two cats, and they sometimes will leave me little presents of puke on my bed, lol! I wouldn’t be leaving the weighted blanket on the top of the bed, but I like to wash all my bedding weekly.
Also, I am loving the Kosas deodorant as well. I have found it’s the only one so far that keeps my onion armpits at bay as well 😂
Mine is machine washable but i haven't tried it yet. I have it on top of my summer weight duvet! x

Yep the cotton one and i put it on top of my summer weight duvet. Mine says its machine washable but i haven't needed to try it yet!

I know you mention that you cut your own hair and it always looks so professional. I would love to know what type/brand of scissors you use and if you follow any tutorials. I have been considering trimming my own hair and don't want to fuck it up.
My scissors were random ones from a beauty supply forever ago and i usually just hack at it but i'm sure theres lots of helpful tutorials! x

Do you keep warm with the weighted blanket I'm a cold person always I just wanted it to keep me warm and help me sleep throw the night.
Like i said, i don't find this one to make me hot so you'd want to get the majority of your warmth from your regular comforter/ duvet and this will just add a little extra.

Rhian (and people in the comments!) I want to get a weighted blanket but they're so expensive.. then I see one that's a lot cheaper and I'm wary.. in people's experience do you get what you pay for? I don't want to waste my money on a cheaper one to find it doesn't work as well, whereas I could of put that money towards the more expensive ones you know?
I'm honestly not sure on this one. I certainly feel like mine is great quality and i love that it doesn't have weights in it, its just heavy so they won't migrate over time. Its also washable which i haven't tried yet.
If you look into the cheaper ones i would consider how its weighted and if its washable etc.

I don't think it's dramatic to say the weighted blanket can be life changing - sleep is key to both physical and mental health and a weighted blanket immediately and dramatically improved my sleep. Cannot recommend highly enough! Got mine at Costco - not too pricey at all. Yours is beautiful Rhian!
