Okay, I paused the Video at 1:30 ... This first minute and a half is AWARD WINNING!!! the Drone Video, The Theme, the Snow Plowing.. GENIUS !!! Nicely done Mike !!! now, back to the video !! Thankyou.
My wife and I bought a new sidekick couple of weeks ago. We absolutely love it. We do a lot of trail riding with it as well as haul stuff around the property. We don't need to go 60 mph, we enjoy seeing the sites. 45 top speed is plenty in this thing. Electric over hydraulic dump box is sweet. It will haul 1000 pounds with ease. And as for trail riding it seems to be very comfortable. If I purchased a polaris ranger with the same options it would have been 35000 dollars and this was 22. Zero percent kubota financing like the rest of my equipment. Made it hard to pass that up.
I had a old 855 john deere SUV and loved it just sold it at the end of last year and bought a new 1100c kubota cab enclosed to keep warm and cool in the summer. It an absolute beasts. I use it to go back and forth to my shop and house. It also will get used for firewood hauling, mulch and topsoil on jobsite. Can't fir the snow to end to use this spring. So far I love it
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my Sidekick - I work that thing like a rented mule - I haul firewood - pull the splitter - pull logs out of the woods and it just keeps on going. I had an RTV 1100 and it was a workhorse too but this is the best of both worlds. Well worth the money
Well Mike, you just sold another Sidekick, purchased yesterday, we live in Nova Scotia. Thank you for the great content by you and your family with the occasional special guests!!!
I have a Kawasaki Mule 610 which is similar to the Side Kick but it doesn't have any speed at all, 25 max but it has lots of torque. Purely as a work vehicle it does the job with snow plowing and 1200 pounds of firewood hauling in a trailer. The Side kick now has my attention and could be a really nice replacement in the future. The Mule is made specifically to fit in the back of a 1/2 ton 6 ft truck bed and in-between the wheel wells, so its rather narrow and short.
Phil here from NE Indiana. Great looking side-by-side. I have a JD 825i S4 Gator. Seats 4. With the grandkids a 2 seater just wouldn't do around here. I have my JD 1025R tractor but I would be lost without the Gator. I put more miles on the Gator than I do my truck. Good luck with the Sidekick and have fun.
Nice machine Mike, you will like it. I just bought an RTV 1100c diesel with full cab and heat and ac and I love it Kubota builds a quality piece of equipment. Have a great day it’s warmed up to 22 degrees up here in NH.
Very nice UTV. I'm looking to upgrade from my 700 yamaha Grizzly. The Grizzly doesnt pull the new 28HO to well. Plus there are times i couldnt get out in the woods with my truck, but the 4 wheeler will. So having a UTV like this makes a job a lot easier going to cut firewood. I like the options it came with! Thanks for Sharing Mike and Melissa! Melissa, i like your comment about your jeep. Drive it like you stole it.
Happy Valentines Day to everyone. That will be another fun machine. I just commented this week what features your next side by side might have and here it is.
That will perform better and better once she breaks in and loosens up a bit. Also when you get 15" of heavy wet snow you can put tons of cinder blocks out back and plow light crazy with that! Happy Valentines Day Morgans!
Very timely for me that y'all are reviewing this. We are about to buy a new one & I've looked at the sidekicks. Once again thanks & keep doing what y'all do.
I have an 06 Kubota that I bought used, had 250 hrs on it, it is a workhorse, I have hydralic dump box which is awesome. I don't ride trails with it but it's a great machine.
I have the RTV 900 (diesel) and love it. It has a hydraulic dump bed that works great. I saw a video where they installed tracks on a RTV 1100 - did fine in 2 feet of snow - just got on top and stayed there!
Traded my RZR 1000 on one. I needed a workhorse that was fun too. With 20 acres to maintain, the RZR couldn't stretch its legs and it didn't have much capacity for work. The sidekick at 40 mph is more than sporty enough and 10 times more capable of work. Kubota did it right!
Good morning Mike and Melissa, chilly here in Deep East Texas at 29 degrees and will be getting colder for the next couple days. Supposed to get some freezing rain and light snow too. Nice looking new Kubota side by side. Looks like it’ll do the job for you folks around there. Thanks for sharing with us. Fred. 👍👍👏🏻👏🏻👋👋
Hi Mike... Glad to see you showing off the Kubota Sidekick. I've had one for almost 2 years now. I love it, and it's a hell of a work horse on our farm. I use it to haul hay and grain for feeding our animals. Lately a lot of snow plowing. I tried out one of the Kubota diesel models on the farm and there was no comparison as to how much better the Sidekick performed for my use. My days of extreme trail riding have long been over so I was interested in a true work horse. Mine has the electric dump bed which is really nice and I like the simple tailgate latches that are so simple they're problem free. Really like your channel and check daily to see what's new....
Mike, you have got to be the luckiest man I know. You get to play with all the “Toys For the Big Boys.” Am I envious? It should be obvious. God Bless You!
Most new UTV's are nice around the farm which is what you will use it for. I have a Polaris Ranger 900XP and use it around my place and also use it for trail riding which you won't find many if any Kubota's out on the real UTV trails. Also, it probably is a little quicker than your old Polaris since you had a Polaris that would haul more people and dogs. You will probably miss that from time to time. The Polaris also doesn't mess with the "parking brake lever" and has a park position. You can of course get any option you want the same as the Kubota. Good luck with the Kubota!
I really like that Kubota side by side, my Kubota dealer is just down the road going to check it out Monday, I like the forest green color too. Melissa sure liked taking it for a drive. Thanks Mike.
kubotas has option colors wich there the only one has more options like black, orange, camo green or dark wood green, plus the rtv made same from factory where the tractors are made plus has gas ,diesel options plus the dump bed has manual, hydrulic electric dump options
@@JohnSmith-tv5ep kubotas only ones let ya have any colors ya want deeres only just deere green and yellow or camo only 2 options wich kubota has more black, dark green, camo flags green, kubota orange or if wonmens wants one kubota can get them in pink as well for same price
You did a Great job covering the 850. We just got one about a month ago. I love it. I was surprise at how soft it rides going across my farm fields. Have a Great Day!
WOW - another new toy - what a surprise...😆. Honestly - I’m glad Kubota has the deal with you. Nice machine - the ONLY accessory missing is closed in doors... folding windows or something. Marcus from Chesapeake VA.
I saw when Melissa turned by the wood shed how tight the turn was. Glad you followed up and mentioned the turning radius. That was impressive. Nice review. thanks!!!! PS. great drone footage at the beginning.
Nice machine couple positives and a couple negatives that I saw compared to what I have. Having the second machine for hauling wood out of the timber would be great. I have been wanting to cut wood but SW Wisconsin we have negative temperatures and 20 inches of snow. Need a set of tracks and a full cab!!!
Mike, my wife and I just bought a Sidekick last week and we both love it! We had a turn signal kit , installed from the dealer and a license plate. Here in Tennessee it is legal to drive on the local streets. I’m already hauling firewood. I look forward to seeing your future reviews. Keep the videos coming.
Hello guys, nice 4x4,Melissa is going to have a blast,do the girls ever drive these around, seem they would get a kick driving it too.Snowing and ice here in Dallas, with more to come,22* here and falling.I have a Honda Pioneer 4x4 ,need to put a back up camera onmine to load boat trailer on.You guys have a great week,Look forward to the next video.
🏆Living the life. I love being outside and using my hands and I have a lot of skills. Unfortunately my job is an inside job/office. It just kills me. Lol. Every time I hear a mower crank up or somebody is doing maintenance on the building me and some of the other guys are chomping at the bit to at least see. Lol. Don’t get me wrong I’m thankful for steady employment but nothing beats getting outside when you can. My neighbors often ask me, “and yes I have neighbors that close to my house” , how do you work a full time job then come home and split wood with an axe for 2-3 hours? My answer is simple. I cut this wood so that I can stomach going back in that office the next day. One day my friend, one day. Congrats on the Kubota union and the new addition to the property. Enjoy and be safe.
Happy Day Morgan's from an iced in Chesterfield County Va. I love your videos and all the information. I've been a Kubota guy for 20 years since buying my 2001 L3710 HST cab, 2001 first gen BX2200 (both are still like new, though I've been drooling over the MX5400) and now 7 months into owning a 2020 RTV X1100C. My property is much like yours, but only 60 acres. I've been extremely pleased with the work and play abilities of the RTV. 25mph on the trails abound my place is plenty fast! By the way, your video on the Sthyl chaps prompted my wife to buy me a pair. Best wishes to you and the family!

Well this was unexpected..lol. Another Kubota to add to the family! Its nice to actually see it in action. We were looking at these and the 4 seater RTVs before we bought our Kawasaki Mule. The Sidekick is a great machine. Have fun with it, Morgans!
Cool! Kubota does a nice job of balancing a utilitarian vehicle that is built for work yet still has a lot of nice features on it. It's not Orange! I really like it, if I were looking for a side by side I'd be sold. You give Kubota such good advertising they should give you one! But really, you do advertise good for Kubota. And like I said, if I were looking, I'd be sold, looks like a good machine.
Happy Valentines Day to you all !! Great video as always Mike ! Appreciate all your hard work , just wish i was 25 years younger so i could work like that !! Have a day and say hi to the Hunt man !!
I own a side kick personally. You'll love it, I'm more impressed by it every time I get time with it.
