Nah, HIS leitmotif is part of HERS.
@@_anthrax101_5 it goes both ways. His main melody is in Killer Queen, and those little melodies at the start of smart race is queens theme
Same scenario happens with Lancer's theme having leitmotifs in the King's theme.
Looks like Toby loves the theme of abused henchmens' themes getting stolen by the main villains.

i love the artwork but kris's chin looks odd from the position its in. i understand that its hard to do pixel art like that but that wont stop me from staring at the chin

I just realized that Berdly is using the same weapon as susie, so does that mean he is the same class as her? meaning that he might be playable on later chapter? similar like noelle, which is like Ralsei, but she's more like a Mage instead of healer

he feels more like a fast-paced spear fighter honestly
his theme is quite quick, he himself is a bluejay, and when in battle he only uses the halberd as a spear, never as an axe
i'm pretty sure it's only a halberd for the pun/cool factor, i mean holy halberd is an actual weapon name, which is a lot more interesting than having just a cool spear with no title

love being able to enjoy Berdly's banger of a theme now that I've finished chapter 2 and began to really enjoy Berdly

It took me this long to realize that Berdly’s cart is facing the wrong way in the game
The artwork is kinda like an optical illusion, you can see both Berdly driving towards your party as well as the other direction! Also the song is a bop! Great job!

My favorite thing in this has to be Queen in the background watching with her battery acid in her flying chair like she's watching a sport lmao.
You know…… I wonder if each weapon the characters use is related to themselves.
Kris: player control blank slate WPN : sword a simple weapon for a blank slate. An all around balanced item.
Suzzy: aggressive actions due to a strong image that everyone around her sees her as a monster and lashes out at those who might not mean harm: WPN: Axe: a heavy blade that shatters defense one blow at a time.
Ralsi: ehhhh actually don’t know how his weapon exerts his will…… WPN: Scarf. A fluffy item that comes in many forms some more suited to attack others to better heal….. what is the key here?
Noel: A passive figure that still is grieving over losses and a potential one. WPN: Ring. A common magic focus in certain RPG games much like the one she plays. However as the focus becomes more powerful so does the potential of the caster leading to *Snowy consequences* it all depends on what influences the casters mood to lead to more support or an all out attack.
Berdly A self proclaimed genius who when thrust into the spotlight gained an ego and attention yet that doesn’t mean he doesn’t know when to drop the facade. WPN: halberd
Perhaps due to the similarity of his name but far more likely he wields the axe-lance due to how he is the heavy weight of the axe combined with the precision of a lance one to show power the other for when things require more then showboating perhaps if he where more honest with himself that halberd would just be a simple lance.
About ralsei, I think that, in this particular case the "weapon", the scarf, leaves its purpose. Since ralsei is a pacifist, he doesn't needs a weapon, and uses it just for defense purposes. The scarf is just there because it's supposed to simbolize warmth and care, two reoccurring themes both in ralsei's character and fight module.
TLDR: a fluffy boy who "takes care" of the others, with warmth and kindness
Or.., at least that's how he behaves like.
Chapter 2 brought up some questions about the boy's agenda, so maybe the idea of him being truly kind isn't complete... Yet. We need to know much more about them, above anyone else in the party

Hold on, if the coaster ride is unfinished, and by logics of coaster rides, how is Berdly able to keep backing up and not fall down for a long time?
My theory is that the roller coaster is actually a loop but once queen saw the fight ended she decided to cut off the end with her battery acid to see the protags fall

Also I can't really imagine how it would be done, but I would love for all the characters to still speak in looped samples. Actual speech just doesn't feel right for them.
