But type C earphones are really something that I try to avoid due to a variety of reasons that I might talk about in a separate video. 'Boat stone 1000' would be a great alternative. Its not that portable to this but during lightening deal on amazon its around 3k and its absolute bang for your bucks with its accurate sound quality with ample bass kicking in. Give it a shot, you won't regret...

Yeah the bass is on the heavier side, can be corrected with EQ if you like a more balanced sound, but for movies and casual listening, I don't mind it.

How is mic quality for taking office meetings?
I'm looking for a descent bluetooth speaker to make phone calls. So between the JBL Go 2 and the Anker which one do you think has better voice clarity and better voice command integration?

5K (INR) for this speaker is a waste of money. Why? Because after almost 11 months of use (bought this on 02/10/2019), after watching the "unbox therapy video on Anker Soundcore 2 " review online. However, I still went ahead and purchased this. This product's cost is way too high compared to other similar products offered by different brands.
Now, within 11 months only, the speaker is producing distorted sounds. I complained to Anker regarding the same since it's still in warranty, but they would not return or repair the product saying -
"If the issue persists, we regret that we are not able to help you walk into our 18-months warranty process. Because I've noticed that you purchased this order from ATM RETAIL, and they are responsible for the warranty. We don't process the warranty from purchases made through our resellers because we don't have their order details in our system."
Really? I am disappointed and did not expect this was coming from a company like ANKER. My bad. I should never go for this product, and neither should anyone else. It's better to choose a good brand with better customer values (Philips, Sony, Bose, JBL, etc.). @unboxtherapy - I am really disappointed and should have never trusted you guys.
If i buy this product from AliExpress, can i get the warranty in India ?
No mention of warranty, so you shouldn't expect it. That being said, Anker makes high quality products, and isn't like the typical Chinese companies.
Can you connect a mic with this?
I will buy these whenever I decide to buy a Bluetooth speaker. Having said that, this all custom duty thing and buying from US is a niche thing, limiting your viewership considerably. Very easy for me to say, but do review products which are easily available in India if you want to increase your viewership base. What about the boat speakers some one has mentioned in the comments ?
This was a personal purchase so I made this review, you also don't have to buy it from US, but from AliExpress, that US part was just for people in US, as I have a bigger audience there for some products. Though, I am not targeting any country per se, as sometimes countries like Bangladesh or Philippines will have the highest viewership on a video. Basically, at this point, I have to purchase everything personally, so I make review of things that I get, not the ones that are popular. Might change that strategy at some point in future, but I already have loads of stuff that's due.

UE roll is better?
It also costs 2-3 times more than this. This only costs 2700. Besides, they haven't revealed the power output, I think it is around 4w, while this has 2 x 6w drivers and a bass radiator. UE roll also seems to have tweeters, so the overall sound quality might be better, but I still can't find it anywhere below 5K.

Don't have idea about those two as I haven't tried them, I have tried making videos in Hindi, but I couldn't make them as good as I'd have preferred, so I didn't continue. Might make a Hindi channel later when I get time.

I have a soundbar but need a new small Bluetooth speaker that has a microphone 🎤 , is water resistant ( for showers because of steam) and is lite for mobility. The Anker Soundcore 2 has these qualities.
