Can confirm: apidura top tube bag is great, streamlined, waterproof, secure. Also love my RD mag tank2000. Thanks for suggesting the sea to summit liner, I was on the fence about it, but I’ll most likely pull the trigger on it now. Thanks!
Since you asked, the Road Runner Jammer bag - while not as aesthetically pleasing as Swift or Romancer bags, it's just the best! Light, straps to the handlebars, carries a good amount, and I've taken it on many trips both on my own and 'tour company' bikes. Easy to pack. The other cool thing is the Flick Stand - light, supports my bike when I need to have it stand up and there's nowhere to lean it. Delightful. Last, Road ID.
Great content as always, I now need more stuff, lol. I will add to your list. A while back you talked about twig stoves, I chimed in saying I have a few different ones. I mentioned I was doing an extended trip, 8 days and was going to use a twig stove for all meal making. I brought the Firebox G5 Titanium model along with me and a Trangia alcohol burner as back up. Short and sweet I love that stove, yes the Titanium model is expensive but it is very light and titanium cools down rapidly after the fire is out. This is important when you are on the move. More pros, fuel is free and always available in any kind of wooded area. It doubles as a campfire and who doesn't love a campfire after a long day in the saddle. It's very efficient and folds down flat for easy packing. Cons are it is a bit messy, you will get your hands and cookware covered in soot. You have to gather wood, duh, it takes 5 minutes or more to get a fire going enough to start cook, then you must feed the stove. But if you want to slow down and enjoy a camping experience this Firebox twig stove is the bomb.
As for bike gear, most definitely my Pedro's tire levers... in pink. Never knew why everyone raved about them until I bought a set. Absolutely love them since 2022 was the year of the flat tire for me. But at a close runner up is my '22 Giant Contend AR3 I just got a week ago. Never knew how badly I needed a "road" bike until I bought one. It's a start into road riding, and a toe dip into cirt racing.
Oh yes,I love a bike buying impulse,if it makes you happy, itsa win! I have the same thermorest great sleeper but it is too big!! Going to check out the nemo! Thanx for all that gear info, really like your channel!subbed a yr.ago!😉👌
Yay, for more videos! A bike bag you should check out is Ron's Bikes Fabio's Fanny. I bought it so I could easily access my camera but they have love of styles and fab colors.
Feel sad -- buy a bike -- feel glad. Works every time. 👍🏻
Truly!

Thanks for this! Loved the bike lock hack especially. It's always on the bike (or I'd never remember it) and not taking up valuable bag space.

I have one of the first models of Fab’s Fanny! I really like it as well, and I totally agree that it’s great for accessing a camera!
