Railway Rhythms - The Open Road

- Technically not a railway song this time, but I think I get away with it. ;)
Been a while since I last made a railworks video, so I thought a few simple projects like this would help with getting back into the swing of things.
That and since Matt very kindly gifted me the Talyllyn Adventure pack for the game, I've really wanted to make a video based around it.
Oddly enough the pack doesn't come with Midlander, or Alf, and yet, Merseysider of all engines is present. Just a really odd choice of engine to be honest.
In any case, this was actually quite a bit of fun to make, and it was nice to work at a much slower and relaxed pace.
Enjoy! =)
Music by: Keith Hopwood and Malcolm Rowe.
Sung by: David Jason, Richard Pearson, Ian Carmichael and Allan Bardsley.
Edward Thomas whistle SFX by: Luke Ryan
Edit: Just realised today's the Rev. W. Awdry's birthday. So that's pretty cool! :) - Фільми й анімація
I'm really glad I got round to watching this video. Thank god another person appreciates how excellent Wind in the Willows is!
The music so reminds me of a VHS Teaser for The Wind In The Willows, which was advertised for my Thomas Gets Bumped and 17 Other Stories VHS I had back in my childhood!
Thank you for reminding me them memories :)
No problem man! It's funny how you can remember the advertisements more than the actual thing! :)
TheScotsmanReturns That's cuz I never watched the actual thing.
There is just so much which is right with this video.
Thanks man! :)

Another beautifully shot video! Huzzah! Hurrah! Hu...is there another exclamation beginning with 'hu'? Huh.
One day you'll have to teach me how to make Railworks look presentable. That day being one of my choosing, of course :)
Thanks mate. Indeed Railworks looking presentable is a feat only possible in the video editor. :P
Great video
Thank you!
very nice works well with the narrow gauge engines!
Thank you! It is a very calming little song, works wonders with a little railway like this!
oh yes it just fits with the engines like bread to butter.

Love you tallylin railway
Talyllyn, yeah i love the Talyllyn too.
Good times.
Oh Tallyllyn :D
Best Railway!!!!
Best SMOL Railway :3
That was nice this music video you must've seen my idea of doing mine.
Hay it's the Tallyphn Railway.
actually, it's called Talyllyn, and the double L is pronounced like the CH in the Scottish Loch.
im slightly confused of what year the talyllyn railway is supposed to be in.....merisider is still there sir hadyn is green but out of service dolgoch is in talyllyn 150 livery but talyllyn isn't and Douglas is green as well....my mind is lost lol but I did love the video especially the Alf moment
It's not supposed to be any specific era. Just me cherry picking my favourite liveries/what actually is available with the DLC pack. :)
ah I understand....nice to see number 8 since he has gone to a new home
heh, neat.
heh, thanks. :)
can you make more of these
Improvising; just image that the track is being supported at 1:24 tho you could just edit the world and make it so the object supporting the track is visible...
When will Percy does the thing 3 come out?
Lovely song, lovely engines. Never seen the DLC's third party or otherwise. Where'd you get it mind I ask?
Thanks man!
And you can get the pack here: www.sptalyllyn.co.uk/
thanks
may i use this in a video?
Not as good or as catchy as Eight Freight Blues but still really good
Where did you get the Talyllyn railway map from please tell me and anyone else in the comments please

Is it possible to use the coaches in things other than the talyllyn railway?
Yes, but it has to be a 2'3'' Gauge track
What’s the name of the song?
If ur british, then y are u using an American Western song?
The one from Wind in the Willows?
Aside from the fact that I'm not using one, why would it be a point to bring up if I was?
I dont know. It just sounded strange to use an Americn western song for a video about British Trains. maybe I should've half said that i my comment
Fair enough, but then there's also the fact that it isn't an american western song.
Yeah, you might be thinking of on the road again.
First woo hoo
You mean "the open railroad?"
Gah, he said RAILROAD
you mean "the open Railway"?
What do you mean "this was actually quite a bit of fun to make", if it's not fun for you then quit UA-cam.
Come on lads. Let's make this happen: www.strawpoll.me/13200792
If I don't find a video fun to make, I just stop making it. Hence why it's been a while since my last video of this style. Sooo...yeah. I think quitting the whole thing because of a few not great unfinished videos is a bit extreme.
I meant if UA-cam wasn't fun for you, I hope you don't quit, though.
