I am 62 now and was a huge OMD, Depeche Mode and many other synth bands back in the 80's. I found this band about 5 months ago of Spotify and haven't stopped listening since. We were supposed to see them in Toronto but the gig was cancelled due to covid. The sound the overall music is outstanding and really represents that era of music so so well.
Brilliant. NoL is the future from the past. Richard Devaney is so much more than a mix of Ian Curtis and Dave Gahan. He has a genuine smart and elegant style. I love finding beauty in a sadness sound.
I like how the band bring back memories for folk, but for me this is a fresh sound, if your a new band of course you have been influenced but this is quilty..... The best
