@powerkingez You can't just clatter into a player. The announcers hit it on the head - in the middle of the park, it's a foul 100% of the time, so why should it be different inside the box? It affects the shot when you see there's going to be a high speed collision. Anyway, Arsenal has been screwed all year. Second pen awarded all season - third to last in pens awarded despite been second in touches in opponents box and first in successful dribbles. Also, first in official prem apologies for var errors.

@Novice_Hero I never said anything other than it was a perfectly reasonable penalty call and Arsenal, if anything, has gotten the short end of the stick on var calls this season. It was a response to someone else saying they were gifted a penalty and should have had 0 goals. City was the better team that day and won 3-1 - fair play to them.

@@benhicks9481 yep but out of stupidity. City was much better in assessing the situation of the game. When they saw Arsenal had the upper hand in the first half and the pressure on them was too high, they didnt continue to try to do short passes close to their own box. Instead they made some long balls to get it out of the danger zone, even if it meant losing the possession. When Arsenal saw City intercepting every 5th pass in the second half, Arsenal didnt stop to do short passes all the time, desperately trying to keep possession in every situation instead of long balls. And so they made mistake after mistake and still never cleared the ball. Went mad watching it.
