It’s more than an interview, it was speaking on Black Comedy in its entirety. To be honest that Katt interview made me appreciate the hard work that Black comedians bring forth like Himself, Mike Epps, Eddie Griffin, and so many others who really put in the work and is original by their own jokes and no biting

Earthquake telling the truth. I attended his comedy club back in the days. The ticket was two for one. They had free buffet the had catfish, chicken fingers and salad. He had 3 comics who were closers on Def Jam. I can honestly say that was the funniest comedy show I have ever gone to. Side hurting, eyes tearing from jokes. I will never forget that night.
Earthquake is 30 plus years in the game and still killing the stage with his comedy! Legends don’t need to explain themselves his comedy and tenure speaks for itself! SE DC Legendary Hall of Fame Earthquake!!

I’ve seen many famous comedians live including Earthquake twice. He had me in tears both times. His standup is some of the best and he stays and talks with people when his set is over. Salute 💪🏾
His is underrated. I saw him on tour with another comedian and he took the show for me.

He's one of my all-time favorites. It's like hanging out with the funniest friend in your circle. Him, Bernie Mac, Dave Chappelle, and Donnell Rawlings are the standard of black comedy for me.
When I was a kid, I was always teased for my weight and was called Earthquake. One day I turned on Channel 53 (BET in my town) and saw this hilarious comedian named Earthquake on comic view. I just loved how he was giving jokes like topping dominoes. Nonstop laughter from every person in the room. From that day, I stopped getting angry and feeling the need to fight back about the word Earthquake. I just turned my bullies trying to humiliate me into them comparing me to the amazing comedian and personality that is Earthquake.
Earthquake is a beast. His club in ATL brought some serious talent in. He handles heckling better than anyone else.
I will watch an old Earthquake special and laugh like it was the first time! He is amazing and one of my favorites 😂

- Exactly what Dave said. His beef with Steve and Ced was understandable but disrespecting people’s wives, saying the Man can’t read, making unfounded insinuations about people’s sexuality, discounting people’s documented grind to instead say it was just given to them… was all regressive. Dave basically called Katt to be a better leader as one of the guys at the top of the game.

Earthquake is funny as hell. I am not sure about his reading ability, but he can definitely make a crowd laugh. His Netflix special was hilarious. Happy he is getting the recognition he deserves!

I never believed Earthquake couldn’t read or was illiterate. I was in the Air Force. No way he could have passed his ASVAB test to get in. Let alone pass tech school after basic training. Ain’t no way he could have made it in the Air Force not being able to read for 10 years.
Firstly, Earthquake, the comedian is way too funny to be ignored! Katt Williams, is another talented man all around too as well. I believe Katt meant reading scripts for movie roles and television shows, that's all.
Exactly. The Air Force requires some of the highest ASVAB scores to get in. For him to have qualified for the tech schools they offered him, he had to have been able to read.

Im a huge Earthquake fan. As a D.C native not to brag but we have some of the best comedians in the game. Earthquake, Martin, Red Grant, Donell Rawlins and my favorite Dave Chappelle. We are right there with the Chicago comedians😂✌🏾💪🏾

I've been a fan of Earthquake since he was working The Comedy Act Theater in Atlanta in the early 90s. He's still one of my favorites. I also enjoy his acting work; most recently his role as Booker on the show Johnson.

Earthquake’s Comedy Corner, which was located in Buckhead, was the premiere spot for black comics. I used to frequent it during the week, late 90’s- early 2000’s. I saw some great comedians grace the stage. I hope there’s a documentary about it. Earthquake is Dave Chappelle’s favorite comedian. This man is a genius!
