- In the middle of a highly energetic political rally in Ram ki nagari, Ayodhya, there quietly sits a patriwala, selling snacks that earn him a living. I spoke to him about his challenges, outlook, and whether any government was successful in alleviating his suffering. Here's how my conversation in Ayodhya with a patriwala went. Appalling how people are romanticizing the suffering of that man saying "He's still so full of life". The last interaction literally summarised the class conflict the working class face everyday. Put yourself in his shoes, he is not lesser, his needs are not lesser, his ambitions aren't lesser. He doesn't want this life. The motive of this video didn't stop at just making you feel the way you did. It goes one step further. Act on this feeling. This is a call for change.

"15 bolkar dasai dekar chala gaya", the line actually said the harsh reality that people don't even hesitate to bargain from the poors who survived on small profit margin.
That man took it and gave him only 10Rs that’s literally stealing from his pocket. Why is our society come to this. Where we buy branded things for thousands and ask for 5Rs off from a poor man? In this case 10Rs 😔

This video has made me feel guilty. On one hand we negotiate with street vendors for a few bucks which will not make any difference to us but it surely will for them and on the other hand we pay thousands of Rupees for food, clothes etc. in fancy places in spite of knowing that it is not worth the money.

When you can clearly see the people rallying for political parties on the other end of road, no party/government is actually listen to this side of the story. This is beautifully covered.
I am ashamed that I spent money to buy alcohol,luxury clothes, got admitted in India’s best institution but never studied and these guys are forced to sell in loss also. After watching this I will never buy things by force ( putting lesser money in hand and snatching the goods)
