Hello, Phil. You're really journeying. Angelina is older in this one. I think 10 or 11 here. She is so sensitive to the fact she's doing the symphonic version as written by George Gershwin, and she has adjusted her sound accordingly. Whoa. Gorgeous. True musician is right. Her musical intelligence awes a person. Thank you so much for this reaction. Grandma Ellen, out.
Grandma Ellen, I applaud you for the great comments you post. I have been given the opportunity to extend an invite to you from the Angelina podcast, Wrapped in a Warm Blanket. Alan and Pontus want to have an episode where angels tell their favorite Angelina moment. The moment can be a lyric from a song, something she said or did or anything at all. Each angel will get 3 to 5 minutes chatting on camera with Alan and Pontus. Please let me know if you are interested. Tusen takk.
@@andyschnell58 , I am interested, but have many questions. Do you record a zoom session? Is just the first. I feel camera shy, bolder when writing. But willing to hear it out and decide. Do you want to know in advance what?
As you continue on your journey you will find she truly one of the greatest musicians to have ever lived. She continues to make history. There will be books written, movies and documentaries. There will be classes titled "Angelina" in music schools and universites throughout the world.
Whaddya say, ma boi Philip? Not too shabby by a ten year old girl, right ? This was a really good reaction, and I saw that you were struggling to find a way of rationalizing how she's able to do what she does. And that's the point. There is no real way of breaking it down or rationalize it, we just have to accept that she's able to do what she does and just marvel. We're witnessing a genius/prodigy, and people like that just are on a COMPLETELY different level than their peers, and hence, what we can expect. It seems to me that she's really getting under your skin now, and I for one would want nothing else than for you to continue a while longer with her. I guess it's needless to say, but there still are SOOO darn many great performance by her that you haven't watched yet. It's crazy really 🙂 Still only 10% through her catalogue...LOL I'll give you another suggestion from when she was 10 years old. She performed this song live on Norwegian television, on a rooftop in the capital of Norway, Oslo. This was just before she went with her family to LA for the first time, to prepare for the move that came 2 years later, and the title of the song "Every Time We Say Goodbye" just seemed to fit so well. I have a LOT of favorite performances by her, this one being one of them. The one you just reacted to is another. Here's the link : ua-cam.com/video/KRSI8HmTHJA/v-deo.html There is ONE man in particular that is THE go to source for anything Angelina has performed both live and in other settings. His channel name is Rusty Shackleford, and in there he has playlists in chronological order for all of these performances. I'll give you the link to his playlists, and I strongly suggest you go there and have a look. You're BOUND to find stuff in there that will trigger your curiosity, even to songs that you are more familiar with yourself 🙂 Here is THAT link as well : www.youtube.com/@RustyShacklefordChannel/playlists All right, m8, that's it from me for now. Enjoy your Sunday and take care! Have a great upcoming week as well. Much love from Norway ♥♥♥♥♥

@@andyschnell58 Wow. So cool to get an invite like that. But here's the thing...LOL I was on cam with Alan and Pontus after the July 10th concert at Kurbadhagen, and I instantly realized that being on cam is nothing for me😂 The immense feeling of not finding the words or the right angels to which to say them, was totally bugging the crap out of me. What we got to see on the podcast was a heavily edited version, let's put it that way.😁🤣😂 Please bring my sincerest thanks for the invite back to Alan and Pontus, my friend! I hope YOU were invited, too, and that you accepted👍👍 I really appreciate all your efforts in the community ♥♥♥♥♥

Absolutely phenomenal.

This is beautifully haunting rendition, Angelina nails it.
A voice as clear as crystal spring mountain water. Stunning and beautiful, even the orchestra members and conductor applauded!
Always summer when AJ's around !!!
This one of my 50 top-ten songs of Angelina. This version
You're so right, it is crazy...
One of my favourites😁
Everything about this was so beautiful. From AJ and the orchestra to the venue. Beauty and class all the way. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
Congratulations on reaching 6K
Thanks Steven ☺
