Since The Break-Up I can say that we never did have sex, but why is it that people always insinuate that is the man trying to get the woman to have sex with them and not the other way around? I've been celibate for over a year now. I have my mind made up about not having sex before marriage. What motivates me to stay celibate is my safety, my heart is in tact. I'm fulfilled in Jesus. When men try to attempt a relationship with me (mainly Carnal men) they don't know how. I'm living in the light and they are living in the darkness. It's easy to weed them out. I don't even entertain it. It's a waste asking Jesus if this man is good for me when I see already. Always wear your armour of God and stand firm on his word. Be obedient!

@@GojoSan21 Hello I see you said you want to save yourself for marriage. I think you should try and figure out whether you're saving yourself as obedience to the father or just for marriage. I only say this because with confessed repentance and obedience you have the covering and can rebuke your carnal thoughts and dreams and it will work every time. Also you may slip into the trap of thinking you will marry someone and have sex before you do. It's happened to me before. I can say that I was a heavy masturbator and started watching porn because of it. I did so for maybe ten years. When I knew better stopped but fell back when I was in a relationship with someone who didn't share my beliefs. I since repented and I haven't masturbated or watched porn in a year now. I've had dreams too that I was having sex or masturbating for a period. They're something that unfortunately if we've had sex before is a tool to reel us back into sin.

From around 2013- 2014 until this day, I have not had any sexual intercourse with anyone outside of marriage (I'm not married by the way) and it's been a daily fight for years in which I've been winning. These videos are really helpful to me. Most people who are not Christians are not committed to be with you and one person only. And ladies, DON'T GIVE IT OUT FOR FREE. Make them wait, and if they really want you for you they will wait. I've been there and done that, and all it does it break your heart and leave you empty and ALONE. It's not worth it. I'm almost 53 and made a lot of mistakes. Hopefully God will find me my husband, a man who will wait for me and want me for me.

Which in our books is what dating" boyfriend/girlfriend" is for, an active search for your spouse which does not include sex as a guide. That is a gift from god for our spouses only.

That’s why I don’t think Christians should listen to secular music, especially with sexual content. It is a struggle to over come because we are so used to it. But it leads to lustful thoughts which leads to acts. James 1:15 These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death.

Ha, good question. I would go as far as saying that as long as you and your wife are not feeling disrespected by those terms then it's up to you. Do I think a man should ever call a woman a bitch? No. I think that is disrespectful in whatever context it's used. So, I think it just depends on the context and the motive.
well sex confuses things, to help you a little bit your comment kinda exposes a profound truth, you said how we suppose to know them. by spending time in places where your flesh can't take over. knowing a persons mind is so much more important then anything else. when you know a Peron's motives or intentions it helps create a unity and spiritual purpose in a relationship. Hey Edward, sorry for the delay, been wrapped up all day. So, courting is not necessarily discussed verbatim in the Bible. However, we see a beautiful picture of it in the book of Song of Solomon. So, yes there is a period of time when we should be getting to know one another. However, that time should be focused and intentional and not consumed by putting ourselves in sexually tempting situations. This actually SPEEDS UP the process of getting to know someone because you'll know them for who they really are rather than simply how they can make you feel.
When you're short, fat, bald, and poor as a church mouse like me, it's easy to be a celibate monk for The Lord Jesus Christ. Although the internet is a big stumbling block for me.

Ha, good question. I would go as far as saying that as long as you and your wife are not feeling disrespected by those terms then it's up to you. Do I think a man should ever call a woman a bitch? No. I think that is disrespectful in whatever context it's used. So, I think it just depends on the context and the motive.

well sex confuses things, to help you a little bit your comment kinda exposes a profound truth, you said how we suppose to know them. by spending time in places where your flesh can't take over. knowing a persons mind is so much more important then anything else. when you know a Peron's motives or intentions it helps create a unity and spiritual purpose in a relationship. I hope that helps a little. sex doesn't help you get to know a person, it just confuses you from actually knowing them cause the focus is if the sex is good I'll stay but if its not I'll leave. we can't base relationships off of sex

Hey Edward, sorry for the delay, been wrapped up all day. So, courting is not necessarily discussed verbatim in the Bible. However, we see a beautiful picture of it in the book of Song of Solomon. So, yes there is a period of time when we should be getting to know one another. However, that time should be focused and intentional and not consumed by putting ourselves in sexually tempting situations. This actually SPEEDS UP the process of getting to know someone because you'll know them for who they really are rather than simply how they can make you feel.
