My friends grandfather cycled from Bangalore to United States of America. The journey was rather tough in those times. With limited resources. Coordination with the Embassy. Passing thru yhe african jungles, being chased by the tribals. I wish someone could write/shoot a biography. Some unimaginable feat done by a common man. He's no more, but the memories i shared with him are worth treasuring.
Two Brothers - Two Honda's 😊 Great video - remember seeing them (as a teenager) riding the Honda's - sans fairings - on the street of Moledina road - Pune - could hear the roar & thunder of the 750 fours before they came into view - the brothers were bearded then - was a treat to see them on these beauties ❤- those were the days 😄 glad to see him & the Bike in pristine shape 😂 Kudos
What an incredible adventure! This should be turned into a film one day to honour these wonderful souls. Kudos to them for maintaining these vehicles also. As a new motorcyclist, myself, who has lived in the UK and has been to different countries in Europe, this is really inspiring for future journeys. Props to the guy who made this video and also for sharing this amazing story. Loved every minute of it because I feel this is how life should be experienced. There are lot of gems waiting to be discovered, including so many wonderful people regardless of where they are from. Of course, the dodgy characters, strange incidents, fateful encounters are all a part of this adventure. I am really happy for them. Wish these two brothers the best of health and everlasting happiness.❤👍
A lot of admiration for those brothers for just getting out there and doing it and even though one bite was stolen that didn’t stop them…. Absolutely brilliant.
That's one REAL adventurist! Must be an experience of his lifetime - he remembers the finest details of his ride (like 12:48 and every minute of this video) and has expressed it so well in words. Sohrab bhai, please write a book narrating this experience in detail with all your ride photos in color. It will be a hit on bookshelves - sign the first copy for me 😊
Fantastic recounting of a motorcycle journey when long distance motorcycle tours were uncommon. And internet wasn't even a dream, when maps were printed and long distance phone communication was sparodic at best and mostly non existent. A true adventure! Thanks so much for the interview.
Sir!! Salute to both of you!!! This story should be made into a bollywood movie dedicated to biking community!!!! This could be a great movie starring Saif Ali Khan & Farhan Akthar as brothers. Very well narrated sir!!
I think this was the one that I had if I remember correctly it had the sand cast cases not the die cast that the newer models had this was also the engine that Mike hailwood won the daytona200 with in 1970 I put many miles on it and then sold it and bought a bmw broke the drive line bought another Honda and never looked back
What a great story, from when the world was much bigger and nicer....
