hi, thank you for the educational video for who at the beginning of the ANSYS fluent, this was so helpful. i have a question if you don't mind. can we use another visualization tool (i mean plane 1 alternatives) in order to view better streamline?
Hello, after setting my speed according to mach 2 in the inlet in the boundary conditions section, if my rocket is at an altitude of 5000 km, what should I change and where should I do it? The reason I ask is that I cannot come to the thermal section in the inlet in the boundary conditions section and change my temperature.
hi, thank you for the educational vide of the ANSYS fluent. If i have a compressible flow upto 3 mach and i used pressure farfield and pressure outlet, what are the values of the gauge pressure and temperature. How do I calculate them?
Hello. This is up to you actually. What is your operating conditions, firstly you should decide it and after that go for standart atmospheric table and check the corresponding values
Hello dear friend. I have a question about CFD. I am working on a car cfd analysis on ansys. My cd results are normal but my lift coefficient is negative value. İs it normal ? How can fix it ?
It was quite helpful . . could u please upload a theoretical lecture on CFD Models like K-epsilon, k omega . . .or refer me some book to understand these models. secondly I start the inialization as hybrid . . not standard as u did . . what's difference be two ??
Hello. I am glad you found the video helpful. I can try to upload a theoretical lecture on CFD Models in near future. You can refer to internet articles about people sharing their experiences with different turbulence models to understand their behaviour better. In layman language, I would say k-epsilon model is good at predicting streamflow region whereas k-omega SST model is good at predicting flow near wall boundaries. Solving of our CFD equations in an iterative process that requires an initial guess value. We can manually provide initial guess values by using standard initialization or else let the software calculate initial guess values by using hybrid initialization. I hope that answers your questions. Keep supporting and share my videos with all your CFD friends.
Hello. As I mentioned at the start of my video, I received this geometry from one of my subscribers for simulation. You can write to me at cfdbaba@gmail.com if you wish to request this CAD model.
i keep getting drag force values way higher than I should. Expecting around 45 N but ansys showing a value close to 3 million. any reason you know why this is happening?

Thanks for showing and explaining all the steps
Sir , please one more video rocket cfd analysis
This was really helpfull ! Great job
Glad it was helpful!
Can u also make a video about how to adjust y+ value. Sometimes its too big and sometimes its just 0 @@cfdbabaopenfoamansyscfd2972
Than you man, this video explain me everything what i want in this stage of learning
I am happy to help.
I use version 2022 R2 ansys. but I cant find 'section plane' tap in 6:00. Do you know where it is?

Thank you so much for the good explanation.
Glad it was helpful!
Keep doing such works and try to give explanation for each steps
Thanks a lot for your kind words. I will try my best. Keep sharing and supporting.
Hey ! This was really helpful can you tell initial conditions that has to taken only for grid fin

Lift results can be negative. It shows that downforce is acting on the car and can make it more stable while driving.
What steps to take if I would like to observe the frequency of vibrations caused by water flow over a cylindrical tube?
Hi, Thanks for the video. While meshing I got an error : Inflation created stair step meshing at some locations. How can I fix this?

Hello! Can you tell me where did you find that rocket geometry? Tks :)

instead of plotting recirculation.. can we calculate it??
How to calculate total thickness under inflation option?
Hi, I have a problem creating a rocket model. Can you give me its drawing file?
Hi. I have sent you the file.
@@cfdbabaopenfoamansyscfd2972 Hi, can you send me the rocket model?
Can you share with us your geometry model
Yes ofcourse. Mail me at cfdbaba@gmail.com
Could you shate the geometry?
How do I obtain the drag coefficient? Because I tried to calculate it and it plots a really big number
Report Definitions- Drag - Report Output Type in the top right corner select Drag coefficient this will give you Cd value
When I import my geometry, my rocket shows up as 3 separate bodies. How can I fix this?
You can combine them through SpaceClaim
Hello, can you send me the drawing file of this rocket? Thank you!
Yes sure. Mail me at cfdbaba@gmail.com
i'm getting error of overlapping
please help me to solve this
Nice sir
Thanks. Keep watching and sharing.
