It's a shame but my RG35XX is not being detected by Garlic Press. The last line on the log is "Device disconected". I tried 3 different cables but no avail. It seems ADB might really not gonna work on my unit.

I'm wondering how it is with Amiga games and what shortcuts the rom should have for the game to work well on GarlicOS. Most games run badly for me with a lot of slowdown and it's impossible to play.
Quick question. Is there a way to add a layer that pulls the boxart from the Img file in roms folder? I already have all of the boxart saved to my SD card but I'd like to use garlic press to resise them to match my theme
For some reason I am unable to actually place files on the device using Garlic Press, when dragging a file from my explorer into the application there's this black 'stop' sign, so something is preventing me from doing this and I don't know what!
cannot figure out how to get text aligned in ver. 0.2312.111 It gives me an "unhandled exception" saying it could not find a part of the path "\GarlicPress\assets\skins\settings.json" what am i doing wrong?

Hi, I released a new version last night that might fix this issue. Some people were reporting the device never being detected and so I added a way of changing the way the device is detected in settings. github.com/prosthetichead/GarlicPress/issues/106
I'm stuck! I have the most recent version of GarlicPress installed, and it's scraping just fine. It searches, finds, downloads, and generates fine. It says it's uploaded to my device, but there's no images. I can move the text tho, so that's fun. Between typing that section and this section, I noticed something. I have to select "Rom System Folders on Root of SD Card 2" to see my roms at all. If I get my roms list up, deselect that setting, THEN update the art, it works. But I have to keep selecting/deselecting that checkbox every time.
Oh I'm sorry you're having this issue. Sounds like a bug in the way its writing the imgs directory when roms are on the root of SD Card 2. Would you be able to submit this as an issue to the github page? github.com/prosthetichead/GarlicPress/issues If you can't that's fine let me know here in a comment reply and I will submit it for you tomorrow night. Having all the issues there in one spot helps with me keeping track of the bugs. I'm pretty sure I can get this bug fixed soon though!

I followed the guide exact on windows 11 but it will not connect just stays in the no device state. Any ideas? I even deleted the adb file and re tried it same results. I know its connecting to the pc because it gets power and starts charging the battery?
This is so odd could you try another cable? If a new cable doesn't work Would you be able to submit a issue to the GitHub? I would love to get to he bottom of this issue as a few people have said they have this issue and I can't replicate it.

Thanks! Yeah Amiga games can be hard Make sure you have all the BIOS files for Amiga and also putting the RG35XX in overclock mode helps!

This is a wonderful app, unfortunately, I cannot seem to find the .exe file in the GarlicPress zip file.

Unfortunately can't get the .exe to open for me regardless. Maybe need to mess with RegEdit...
Did you get it working? Is windows defender or some kind of security blocking you opening it as its an unknown application maybe?

The same thing happened to me. Using Win 11, the device is charging but undetected by adb.
Try changing the cable. Some cables only charges the device & can't transfer dsta
