@CatsJams This was basically an impromptu performance, made up of the combined Vocal Majority and Ambassadors of Harmony choruses, singing for each other and our guests at a post-contest party in Philly. We've never performed on stage like this. However, in 2009 in Anaheim, CA, VM and AOH joined with the Masters of Harmony from Santa Fe Springs, CA, to perform on stage as a 400-man mega-chorus. A once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Harmony Foundation used to give out a DVD of that performance when people pledged to join. They are still giving out a DVD these days, but it's a different one - however, if you ask around you can probably find a barbershopper who has the one you're looking for.
@MrCyclone21 Actually, while the Vocal Majority Chorus is headquartered in Dallas, the Ambassadors of Harmony are from Saint Louis, Missouri, and are an entirely separate chorus.
@SignatureStampsFan Based in the Dallas, Ft. Worth area. The music is all under the group, The Vocal majority. The other group....Ambassadors of Harmony are a select number of singers out of the Vocal Majority Chorus. They have an open free practice every Thursday night for the public at the Church of Christ in Coppell, Texas a burb of Dallas.
The AOH are their own chorus - NOT a select group from VM. The two choruses are great friends, but completely separate and apart. You can find other VM-AOH combined chorus performances elsewhere on You Tube.
ComaLiteJ -Don't know what you just said about all that Flash version stuff but I heard some screaming overtones on my computer with just my little earbuds!! I sang with Sweet Adelines for years so I have some BBS experience and musical training (piano, organ.) I have loved BBS music & the VM since the early 80's. So even if you're like me and not computer wiz,LISTEN ANYWAY!!
Beautiful Vocal work with fresh sound. The attire is a distraction. Wonderful arrangement, dynamic and tone. Barbershop groups should be aware that they are theatre - so dress to a consonant theme please.
All the antics, dancing and costumes of the stage performances take away from beautiful harmony and voices that mesh so well. This is what singing should be like.
Love, Love, Love it!!! They found a room big enough to fit all of you in?! What a performance!
So much expression and emotion in the men. Refreshing.
Awesome...praise God!
This is an awesome joining of 2 great choral groups!! Chills!

You have to know this is clearly a rehearsal or after party... not a performance. The attire is immaterial. Just enjoy the sound and direction.
This is just amazing. Talk about hair raising. Have these two choruses ever done a cd together?
@paulmadore
Only a small glimpse, perhaps....

Did that performance make it to video? I'd love to watch it.
anybody have this sheet music?
1 Corinthians 15:3-4; 1 John 4:19
There are three arrangements of this on the societies web page shop. Which arranger is this arrangement?
Kevin Keller
This looks like a rehearsal. Did they ever sing this song in concert?
Pete Rupay
