All things about this motorcycle is perfect, except as you said the rear light. The RE should have retained the old squarish brake light. That light had its own unmatchable charm.
The Standard in maroon looks so good! I feel tempted to buy one but I need to keep my vehicle count reasonable. The Classic 350 is a really nice bike so it's no surprise that this is too. The starting price is about 20k lower than that of the Classic so that goes in favour of the Bullet too.
@@twowheeledparadox So… i got the chance to test ride The New J Series Bullet 350. I rode it around 50 km, on the city, highway and bad roads. And I can strongly say it's a "Better Classic 350" in every way. So here is my experience with this motorcycle. 1. The handle bar position is a little bit higher than the classic 350. Because of that, the seating posture has improved a lot. Though this is a very subjective opinion. You may or may not like it. 2. Long single seat is great, very Spacious. cushioning is great. Especially for those who ride with their wife and children, you won’t find a better seat on a motorcycle (Though I do not recommend riding with 2 pillions, yes you can ride locally in city but do not go to highway with 2 pillion) Because of the soft Cushioning it may not be good for long rides. But RE is offering Touring seat as well, at an extra cost if you need one. 3. The weight distribution of this motorcycle is amazing. You won’t feel like you are riding a heavy bike, even in a stationary position, it’s not hard to move around. 4. I am highly impressed with the suspension of this motorcycle. Beyond my expectations honestly. Bad roads, potholes, it handles absolutely fine. 👌 Suspension setup is the same as the classic, but I think they have tuned it differently for this model. Model. I felt it was definitely better than my Meteor 350. I have ridden both bikes (bullet & meteor) on the same bad road back-to-back. Though on Highway meteor is King. High speed stability is far better on Meteor 350. That doesn’t mean that the bullet is far behind. It's great too, but not up to that level. 5. The gear box is smoooooth. Buttery smooth I would say. Shifting is very easy, very responsive. 6. Normally, I felt no vibration at all, but after 80kmph I felt a little vibration of the foot peg and handle bar. Which is negligible. And in my personal opinion, the new bullet 350 is a far better-looking motorcycle than the Classic 350. This is my personal opinion. You don’t have to agree with me on this. subjective opinion varies from person to person. So that was my riding experience. 🙏 Peace
@@iGAM3MAN Thanks for the detailed response! I think most of your observations hold true for the Classic 350 as well. You are right about the handlebar and seat, though. Did you notice the exhaust sound being louder than that of the Classic 350? I got to test ride the new Bullet 350 last night and it sounded louder. Maybe it was psychological. Anyway, I really liked it and want one in maroon! I don't think I will actually end up buying it, though.
I am fortunate enough to own the 2016 Royal Enfield with UCE engine but without a self starter. I have travelled to Mysore, Mangalore, Chickamagalur, Belgaum and Goa many a times and I totally agree with Mr Anuj from Bikewale. As I am a Distributor for Savsol Lubricants (Savita Chemicals) I am using Savsol Premium Plus 4T 15W-50 and my Enfield operates smoothly without any heating problem or any such thing. Bullet Ki Jai Ho.
Thanks for mentioning the tail light point. I had made a comment on your previous post regarding the same. I think not only the tail light but the overall design of the motorcycle could be more bullet. I don't quite like the classic but i used to like the standard bullet design with its subtle but better design differences. To me the standard always looked more authentic. And i feel RE have done a kind of cost cutting by not having much of a difference from the classic's parts. I think that could've been better😊
No Bullet 500 option? I feel that a 500 would be an excellent gap filler between the 350 singles and 650 twins. I'd also like to see a 750 version of the twin with 1970's styling as an alternative to the 1960's styled Interceptor 650. A 750 with a tear drop tank and mini ape bars along the lines of the USA market Triumph T140E would fit the bill for me.
Really one of the best reviews I’ve seen. excellent details and one of the best videos of suspension functionality. We’ll done to the presenter and the whole crew.
Engine sound is better on the old bullet. But, the new one is better. I notice the quicker throttle response. And I think the new model upgrades look great. I hope they do a 500 again.
I am not a fan of classic bikes but if I have choose to a Royal Enfield bike then I will go for the new bullet and replace the wheel with a alloy and tubeless tyre
Best review yet. Old and new Bullets sound the same in my opinion. I live in North America and currently have a Meteor 350, I'm hoping this Bullet gets to us by next summer because this is the RE I've wanted all along
Can you please guide if its ok to buy single channel ABS due to color preference? Or should i go for double channel ABS only considering safety issue? Thanks in advance
I don't think it will be that much effective on breaking when you cruise 50 to 70. Anyways you should break front wheel first. So you can go with that. Not a big issue when you are not a cruiser.
Thank you for the thorough research and please suggest me which variant of Classic 350cc will be value for money? Thanking you in advance for your suggestion
You’re right buddy the new bullet sounds a lot better..my question to all enthusiasts and experts alike is,can someone like me who’s of the same built as him and a novice choose this as his first motorcycle? Pls suggest cheers!!
Building muscle memory is very important in Indian roads. Which includes braking techniques. Abs will save you a lot these days. But one with dual channel abs. Even after that you need to be very aware of pedestrians crossing the road. Other bikers will always urge you to overspeeed by honking at you. 60 percent of bikers on the road are mannerless, as they are always in hurry. (Unhappy people). Always let them pass. Let them do the accident and suffer. You need to follow a s0eed limit in your head in these tricky situations. Because if someone comes in front of you, you need to stop fast in a straight line 20 percent of the times. I would say you will have to be very slow in the first 1 year. Take it very gradually. Bullet hitting someone is a fatal accident. Thats the only problem. Your elder will tell you to buy a splendor or a glamour. That would be better choice according to me too. And also you will fall a few times, don't worry we all did. It's part of learning. There is minor risk involved. Ride slow, so you won't fall hard. Learn, butwith less speed. You don't want the new bullet to be scratched all over the place. Buy a 2nd hand glamour, ride for 1 year. Then but the bullet. I rode a glamour for 8 years, then bought Hunter. Riding it for 1 year now. Not even a single stratch. Feels so good. I fell with glamour and learnt. Just 1 fall teaches you lightning fast. 😂 And I rode very safely, even the' The road is the road'. No one seems to understand the simple bullet. In the newer bikes its the engine that is making the noise not the silencer and its not the crank that is vibrating its the whole bike... they are constnant vibrations like that of a sewing machine..The Irony is that I think the Honda CB350 has captured the bullet magic better than the newer bullets.. If you have an old bullet (pre 2000) just let the bike idle and then cover the silencer.. You will see what I mean. the engine is compeletely silent, CI engines make less noise than a 100 cc phat phat bikes. They more refined, more reliable and more comfortabel if you knwo how to break-in the engine and ride them..ride them using the torque..

Bullet 350s biggest rival will be the Classic 350.Why choose one over the other?
Good question. It's probably down to colour scheme, seat & handlebar. I personally prefer the Classic.
@@Jonathan-L Bullet was RE's iconic bike. The new icon and face of RE is the Classic.
@@_abhimanyu. Thank you kindly. By the way, do you own a Royal Enfield yourself? I don't know anyone personally in my country who's got one, however the main dealership in my city is only about 6km away, so I should visit them sometime to get a close up experience seeing them. Best wishes from the south west coast of the island of Australia.
old one's idle sound is good.
Actually, it’s the other way round.
What % cost would a metal tank badge add to the bike? A miniscule amount, but for me that's a deal breaker, a plastic badge is embarrassing on that bike.
Okay
UCI ingen is best are J series what do you say
I have a 2019 standard and with stock silencer it sounds horrible
Okay
I have the older one..and I am happy that I have tested the true legend..! Sorry to say, it has lost the very charm it's ancestors had..Kuch kuch cheez purana hi achha rehta hai boss.. sab kuch ko modernity se mat jodo
Okay 👍🏼
I love this matt black colour 😍 i was really amazed ♥️
Its really Thump vs Rumble. I love it though. With time things have to change. Thats what reminds us that we are getting old😅😅
Off road vs gear box fuel tank and vibration for low weight person like me engine guard ...
Made like a GUN
Run like BULLET
Dude im 5.2 and i love riding bikes especially royal Enfield..
I can manage classic 350 ❤😂🎉
👍🏼
The new bullet looks like it's made for ladies and not for men. It's more rounded and feminine. The older model is more masculine by design.
If you say so...lol
What about spoke wheels with an average 31 mileage
What about it?
@@BikeWaleOfficial spoke wheels and mileage is not worth it
Really its the classic 350 reborne, rebadged tank and with a different different duel saddle
It is a new tank with different proportions
