The AC Tracks section of RaceDepartment is spoiling us with an embarrassment of riches. There are more fantastic tracks added daily than I could possibly cover, but here are four excellent ones that I've come across.

I'm glad I'm not the only one experiencing the weird flickering issue with shadows on gloves/distant cars in AC with the latest CSP then.
Have they fixed the FFB getting weird on REALLY long and huge maps? It got like stronger and stronger
@@henrik1743 I can’t say I’ve ever experienced that. The only thing with massive maps is that the further away you get from the centre of the map, the harder it is for the sim to calculate position correctly. This is something that CSP managed to improve hugely with a double precision physics engine but can’t cure completely as it’s an engine limitation.
I have a ton of graphics pre-sets and settings for free and videos on how to fine-tune things in graphics. I haven't had this issue on any cars or anything
@@scgmike7805 It doesn't affect all cars but it's certainly an issue that has popped up recently.

Oschersleben is only an update of an old conversion. Accakut version is more accurate but infortunately not fully finished. But Fuzo on his patreon said he got permision to work on it.
I can confirm that :) I already have data from AccAkut but there is a lot of work to do, so I need to mentally prepare for it :D
It would be nice if you gave us the actual links to the individual mods in the future. I really enjoy your videos. :)
Hey Mike. Great and informative video as always. Anyway, I really love your NeckFx settings here. Any chance sharing the settings?
Did you try Bridgehampton yet? It’s an oldie with great history. It’s worth it for the first turn alone!
Nice! I haven’t tried it yet. I’ll give it a go.
I have like 400 tracks, and Bridgehampton is my top #3 at least, absolute gem.
The quality of Bridgehampton is next level too.
Such a pleasure to lap, and lap... and lap...... and lap.
Where can I get the R10 TDI? I ran a search on race department but couldn't find it.

Any of Fat Alfies tracks are amazing! Well worth a look
Fonteny. It's better than the Nord imho
@@Fred_Bassett I'm absolutely besotted with the Battenburg ring. It's so detailed and it's an amazing drive!
@@tomholloway2985 There is nothing that Fat Alfie doesn't make 100% right.
@@Fred_Bassett oh yes and I think that really helps with the immersion aspect. I get lost doing laps of Bremgarten. Fast and flowing with a git of a final corner! 😂
To remove those lines, turn off render head. Can't remember where in settings but you'll find it.
Rouen is in my top 5 racing tracks. It was one my favourite tracks on PCARS2. I used to love racing around it with the late 60s Jim Clark's green Lotus and the 70s Fittipaldi's black Lotus.
Thanks for the update, those tracks look great 😍
Always great when heads up are given on new tracks, especially free ones. Thanks Mike.
Another heads up: Steam has a Spring sale going, you can land Assetto Corsa for just 5 bux, if anyone watching this would like to put these tracks to good use.
Question: why do your cars behave like boats in a windy day at a lake with a damaged rudder? It's odd how they behave like a boat when turning, the kind of effect that comes stock with AMS2 that is the source of so much complaint, until someone turns the camera effect to zero. I'm new to AC and not sure where such setting is located at, if there is one. I don't recall my cars in AC doing this, curious why you have so much of a sideways roll.
Im pretty sure it's his NeckFX settings that makes it looks like the cars are floating. NeckFX should be located in the Settings Tab of Custom Shaders Patch, there is a check box where you can enable or disable it to your liking. I have some of the same cars and they feel very planted, not like the video at all. Though I just got AMS2 and Im trying to figure out how to get rid of that boat feeling rn😭😭
He does it to match the motion rig, is my guess? Has to do with motion sickness or not 🤷🏽♂️
@@QuyNguyen-lk7ly Heh, you asked the right person: AMS2 - settings - Camera. There are two tabs, Field of View and Movement. Click movement and you'll see several of the camera efffects there. Most people seem to zero everything but I like a bit of vertical movement, it helps amplify some of the bumps and thus make it a bit more realistic imo. Experiment and see what works for you, although I'd definitely leave the lateral effect at zero, unless you prefer to drive boats like Mike hehe. Here are my settings:
- head shake off
- 0
- yes
- 0
- 30
- 10
- yes
- no
- 0
- 0
- camera leaning 0
Been looking for some new tracks! Right on time, THANKS!
Hope someone makes a mod of the proposed F1 track in Qiddiya. That would be wild!
Your pronunciation of Oschersleben wasn't all that bad, Mike 😁😁edit: something I forgot to add, not sure if it applies to earlier videos too, but your camera / head movement settings in Assetto Corsa kind of make my stomach turn. not sure if I'm alone in this. Kind of like AMS2 without legacy head movement.
Still more reasons to stick with AC. Brilliant.
You should run the R10 on the third track. You have the short short version. There is a full version in GTR2, and the R10 is super fun on it.
Well you can drive anything you want on these tracks. I love a GT3RS myself on an old circuit.
Holy cow. What ppfilter are you using???? Or what are your display settings. I can't for the life of me get my AC looking close to this. I'm running a 2070s i5 9400f usually getting over 120fps at 1440 p so I know my system can handle it but I can't find a filter that looks good please help anyone!!! Great video by the way subscribing
+1 I've watched some Pure tutorials on youtube but can't seem to get it looking this good. I just got a quest 3 and I really want to put that extra clarity to good use!
@@angryginger791 yeah even on quest ,2 it usually looks pretty bad so somethibg is not right in my settings that I'm trying to figure out
NORDSCHIEFE COMING TO ACC!!!
When

Well, I've seen Fat-Alfe get mentioned for his work (Thomson Road, Feldbergring, Fonteny, Deutschlandring, Bremgarten, Battenbergring).
There's LilSki, who's been noted for his Bridgehampton, and also did Riverside.
I feel I need to point out F3 Classic Tracks/Sergio Loro, who has done an excellent version of Rouen. In addition to that, he's put out Greenwood Roadway and Stardust for here in the States, as well as '60s Suzuka in Japan and '60s Zandvoort in the Netherlands.
The outfit has also produced a number of more club-type tracks in Scandinavia and South America, not to mention a few street circuits and a smattering of ovals.
Lilski and his Road America is great too. I use it as my main test track for cars on AC. So many great modders on there
@@Fred_BassettYeah, that one kind of slipped by me. The base Kunos content is good and interesting, but it's also pretty limited in the grand scheme.
I wonder if OP, from up north of the border, has taken a look at Mont Tremblant 1969 by P_Cote.
I guess the other track creators coming to mind just right off would be Fourty-Too! and Nukedrop/Tyrone.
Assetto corsa has so many awesome tracks and mods :D
Mike whats funny is that most of these tracks work with vanilla assetto.
Long Beach 2024 is not there now?
You mean it got taken down? That sucks. It must have borrowed from others.
@@SimRacing604 I found it by googling it. Nice track.
