This place was one of my two local tracks for a time (about the same distance to Cadwell as it was to Snetterton, such was the black hole of sport I lived in). The section over the back is completely alien to the rest of it but it's still a fun place to lob a car round.
omg this is the way I've always enjoyed Assetto most : track day in a fun little RWD car, on a bumpy track. I haven't been able to do that in years but I'm expecting my new Cammus wheel and pedals soon, can't wait
Bro, don’t you know anytime you feature a car or track, paid or free I always end up getting it and spending hours with them lmao. Your car and track picks are always on point. Keep them coming. 😂😂
this is one of my go-to combo's will give this version of the track a go... It's a great car/track combo in VR. Was the first combo I ever did in VR (on PC2)
One of my favorite tracks. I run a weekly open AMS2 lobby, and it's one of the tracks that get heavy rotation with smaller cars like the Junior, the Lotus 23 or the Copa Uno.
Love the Caterhams. First fell in love with them on AMS 1 and have since tried just about every one mod or not! They are also great on VIR which is my local track. Perfect balance of power and weight for the tight twisty stuff! Gotta try this combo now! Thanks Mike!
I think an older version of this car is what I won my first SRS championship in with a goofy-ass custom skin. Lots of fun but tricky to master and required a delicate left foot! Wasn't aware there was a newer or updated version, I'll have to check it out.
Thanks for the great content. Been sim racing since the beginning of covid. Needed something to do while I was homebound because of covid. Been loving it ever since.
Same here. I had been casually sim racing with a controller and Xbox until covid then went full hog and bought a decent PC, and rig. Never looked back.
Ah Mike's discovered Cadwell :D You really need to make a pilgrimage here one of these decades just to visit places like here, Croft and Brands :) Or failing that, go look up some motorbike races here.
Raced motorbikes around here in my younger years the only thing i can see is going through coppice up to charlies was a lot steeper than it looks on here. Going down to Mansfield was the worse for me down hill braking and into a left corner always felt like i was goimg to loose the front end, not good on a motorbike
the 3d people look awful, haven't tried it but it looks poor in general, even the ondulations don't seem smooth enough but gotta give it a try for sure. Maybe you could test different car types (like a Formula, a touring car with harder suspension, at least a few laps on each just to give a better feedback but yeah, people gotta try for themselves. thanks for the video!!
I discovered that track in AMS2 but I will try it in AC as I much prefer the AC car handling and physics. How you you know the best times in a specific car/trac combo?
I used to have a Discord, but it wasn’t for me. Unfortunately I don’t have much time to dedicate to online racing. It would be cool to race you and others, but my life doesn’t allow for it at this point

The great stuff just keeps on coming in AC. Excellent.

cadwell is my local track! nice to see it featured on the channel, Mike!
That’s awesome! I wish I lived anywhere remotely close to a track like this

good content, good to see you enjoy sim racing. i took a break and got into RC drifting but will sim race again.
Great choice of car and track Mike. Brilliant car, still holds the no.1 spot for most driven car in AC for me.

that combo is also one of my favorites the caterham mods in AC are the best caterhams in sim racing
Gotta say, I think this version is better than the one present in PCARS2/AMS2, especially at the Gooseneck corners.
Thank you, so mutch. I have maybe 2 version earlier. Never liked. Thank god i tryied this. Holy moly, so good. Been driving three days in a row now😊
Great fun! 👍🏁
Really fun, love the h-shifter version. Tried this combo and AMS2 - I like comparing but my driving is still crappy - I'm lucky to hit 2:00!
One of my favourite tracks for small, low HP cars.
Try the JCW Mini at Cadwell, in ams2 🙂

Will take a look.
You should try radicals ssr10 or something. Those are blasts for this track (suspension works great with bumps, also cornering is epic).
Britain's Bathurst :)
I don’t like the canned suspension squeak noise some of these cars use

I need to fix my seettings the cars always seem to be respawning like it’s no hesi cut up n not a legit track day

I had to look it up. There are websites that track best lap times by car.
Do you do any kind of community races or have a discord maybe? Love to race against you one day

Much lower power Caterham but racing here was great fun
